Blue Dolphin: A 3-bedroom, dog-friendly coastal beach cottage in Avon with an abundance of charm. Enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to public beach access.

In this spot just four lots from the beach, you can relax and admire the ocean view from the rooftop deck, unwind on the cool screened porch, or catch up with your loved ones on the furnished sundecks. If you're in the mood for cooking, whip up a seafood feast on the outdoor park grill or head inside to the kitchen and dining area for a relaxed indoor meal.

The owner has put a lot of thought and care into this beach home, and it shows, from the living room with cathedral ceilings to the separate laundry area underneath the house. Enjoy three TVs (one is a 42-inch flat-screen), a DVD player, a stereo/CD player, and three accommodating bedrooms.

For great beach access and plenty of room both indoors and outdoors, Blue Dolphin is most certainly an excellent catch.

Community Amenities: The Club Hatteras Community Pool and Playground are located at 41156 NC Hwy 12 Avon, NC 27915. The pool is generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Please note that the operation of community pool dates and times may vary dependent on weather and pool management companies.

Around Avon Village: There's plenty to enjoy beyond the beach! Grab fresh local seafood, browse locally owned shops, or cast a line from the historic Avon Fishing Pier. Outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of nearby ORV beach access ramps or head to the Haulover Day Use Area for easy sound access, watersports, and beautiful views across the Pamlico Sound.

Beach Access: Just a short walk from the house! Head down Antillas Road toward the ocean. A public beach access boardwalk and path are located at the end of the street, providing easy access to the beach.

No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 Dogs Maximum Allowed. Dogs allowed for an additional per pet fee.

Parking for 3 cars.

Please Note: As a barrier island, Hatteras is constantly changing. Beach conditions, dunes, and access points may vary due to erosion, restoration projects, weather, and other environmental factors.

Blue Dolphin

We love, love, love the location, the coziness of the house and that we can bring our dogs on vacation with us. The house could use a new microwave and improvements in the water pressure for the outside shower.

Solid house, especially for the price. Good location 2 minute walk from the beach, 3 min drive to food lion, can walk to beach shops. Overall house was very clean, though we battled a large scale ant invasion in the kitchen all week. Matresses are firm (if you like firm, then cool), kitchen was functional, outdoor shower was solid. Dryer didnt work, needs to be serviced, thats about the only real complaint. Its not a new house by any sttetch of the imagination, but a good option, especially for a family on a budget, your not going to find better for the price, and location, location, location!

Blue Dolphin 054, Avon NC

I loved the low rise steps up to the front door, the stained shiplap planking on walls, the cathedral ceiling in main room, the old rattan ceiling fan with light fixture, the bay window in dining area, the large screened porch with swing, fully furnished kitchen, and large master bedroom. The walls had upscale framed outer banks artwork and ocean theme decor. Very beachy and relaxing.
