Accommodations were great, clean, lots of options for families with kids of all ages to spend quality time indoors and outdoors. Owner was helpful informative and super responsive. Would 100% consider rebooking in the future!!!
This was a beyond amazing weekend and the Bear Lake Lodge. Rita fully ensured I had everything I needed and wanted. The cabin is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The geese squirrels and deer make it feel like a fairy tale. Kristy, the property manager worked with Rita to ensure everything I requested was correct. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and I requested local flowers, chocolates, and wine. She delivered on everything making our day together extremely memorable! Will definitely be back to stay with them!!
We have always stayed in cabins with mountain views, but this trip we decided to do something completely different and stayed at a quaint cabin on its own little island. It was one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. We spent our days kayaking, relaxing on the master bedroom patio listening to the water, and watching deer walk right up in front of us to eat. It was such a peaceful experience. The owners have thought of everything. They provide kayaks, life jackets, water boots, outdoor games, and even a movie room. Every detail of the cabin is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. It was just my husband and me getting away for two days with our dog, Bailey. To say she had the time of her life is an understatement. She was fascinated by the deer and, at least at first, loved chasing the geese. I honestly think she may have loved the property even more than we did.Our only wish is that it were a little bigger so we could bring our whole family/friends next time. With only two bedrooms, it is perfect for a couple or a small family, but we would absolutely love to come back.

Thank you so much Daveenia! It was a pleasure hosting you!
Absolutely Incredible- From the moment we walked through the front door, we knew this place was something special. The cabin was spotlessly clean. The decor is absolutely stunning, with the perfect mix of rustic luxury and cozy comfort. Every room feels thoughtfully designed, and you can tell the owners have poured their hearts into every detail. The host was phenomenal. She reached out immediately with clear instructions on how to contact her.It gave us peace of mind knowing someone was always available, although everything was so well thought out that we never had to ask for a thing.Speaking of thoughtful...they literally thought of everything! If you forgot it at home, chances are they already had it waiting for you. So many other little extras that made us feel completely taken care of. The wildlife experience was hands-down our favorite part! Watching deer right outside was amazing, but having a live deer feeder camera displayed in the living room was next-level.It was such a unique feature that we've never experienced anywhere else.Once the sun went down, the property transformed into something magical. The lights throughout the property created such a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. Every detail exceeded our expectations, and it's obvious the owners genuinely care about giving their guests an unforgettable experience. We didn't just enjoy our stay—we hated to leave. We'll absolutely be back, and I honestly can't recommend this property highly enough.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Tonya. I’m so glad you enjoyed our place. Happy guests make my heart happy!
My husband and I have stayed in VRBO rentals across five states, and nothing compares to this home and property. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The decor is stunning—black accents with natural wood, plush rugs, vaulted ceilings, and windows everywhere. It feels warm, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The outdoor spaces truly made the stay. Even in the rain, we spent most of our time outside thanks to the multiple covered areas. There’s a TV and workout space under the house, a lounge with hammock chairs and room to dance (loved the Grateful Dead station!), plus areas for games and an outdoor movie setup. Every space felt intentional and inviting. We enjoyed the grill and smoker, hot tub, and fire pits (the sauna looked amazing too!). Feeding the deer and watching wildlife was unforgettable—the deer cam inside was such a unique touch. We also loved seeing geese, squirrels, and birds up close. We accidentally locked ourselves out, but Rita was incredible—kind, responsive, and truly the best host we’ve had. From the welcome wine to helpful messages and even sharing deer videos, she went above and beyond. Kristie, the property manager, was also so helpful. We’re already planning to return. We’re beyond grateful—thank you for an amazing stay!

Thank you so much for your kind review! Please return soon!
When I say pictures don't do this place justice.... Even that is an understatement!!! Top to bottom, inside and out, this place is absolutely incredible! There are SO MANY thoughtful touches, in every single room and corner. Not just the typical ones you'd expect either! The individual sized heating blankets were perfect for watching movies outside with my girls when it was chilly. There are rain jackets. Mud boots in different sizes. Bikes and scooters. The water that surrounds the property is beautiful, and was also like a built in fence for our pups! At night, the lights made it all so dreamy, too. The surplus of crazy soft blankets everywhere were so cozy. Water bottle heating pads with fur covers?! Yeah, that's something I didn't know I needed but will be purchasing lol. There was even a super cute hanging holder, for all the things you mightve forgotten to pack. From toothbrushes and toothpaste, to razors and flossers. I've never been to a more thoughtful or well stocked Vrbo in my life, and I've been to dozens and dozens. It was so easy to relax here and unwind. Everything was perfect and so well put together. I'm not sure I could recommend anywhere, more than this!!! So many different areas to hang out, games to play, and it all was exactly what me and my family needed! We will absolutely be back!!

Thank you for being wonderful guests and for beautiful review. Please come back soon!
Wow.... what a wonderful time we had at this property! Let's see... you drive up to a beautifully-situated cabin in the woods, on a "island" with water on each side. This home has amazing amenities outside; fishing pond with fishing gear provided, two fire pits with seating areas (one on each side of the cabin) so you can choose your view and sun/moon position. Two grilling areas, again on each side of the home, along with a smoker. Picnic tables and lounge chairs with umbrellas...and let's not forget, hot tub and the sauna with the "cold plunge" shower right beside it! The outdoor game room is extremely well stocked, and while we didn't use the outdoor movie room it just added to the "resort" feel of the property. Then you go inside! Very clean, very comfortable and extremely well-appointed with just about everything you can think of. And great communication from this perfect host ! We highly, highly recommend!!
