Here, quiet moments come naturally — whether you’re sipping coffee on the 20-foot back deck, listening to the babble of water below, or watching the sunlight filter through the trees.
Though it feels worlds away, Pinebrook Retreats is located near all the best that Bellaire, Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain have to offer — from golf and skiing to local shops and cozy restaurants.
The Space
Step inside and you’ll find a warm, light-filled space designed for comfort and connection. The open living area features three large sliding glass doors that frame views of the pine woods and creek, bringing the outdoors in. A gas fireplace and comfortable furnishings make it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals — from full cookware and utensils to thoughtful touches like coffee supplies (both a drip pot and Keurig), complementary spices, and place settings for eight. A high-top dining table and breakfast bar with swivel stools make dining casual and easy.
For added convenience, the condo includes air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and a sleeper sofa for extra guests.

The primary bedroom suite offers a king-size bed, streaming TV, and an ensuite bath featuring a walk-in shower and a large two-person jetted Jacuzzi tub — ideal for soaking and relaxing at day’s end. About the host
Hosted by Lori Field
Hi, we’re Lori and Gregg—a 'trying' to retire couple from Brighton, Michigan—and this is our personal vacation condo. We bought it in October 2025 and began renting it later that year, so the space is still new to us and continually improving. Since we stay here ourselves, we keep it comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully equipped. We still work full-time, so we rely on great local help for housekeeping and maintenance, but we manage everything else directly through Vrbo. The rental income goes right back into upgrades and improvements, and guest feedback plays a big part in shaping those changes. We’re not rental investors—just homeowners sharing a place we love while helping offset the cost of keeping it.
Why they chose this property
Our home is like living in a tree house in a pine forest. Exploring from the deck or just looking out the glass door wall into the woods and listening to the creek rush by is so relaxing. But, when it's time to play...you are 10 minutes of the beach, golf, skiing, mountain biking, restaurants, beer-garden, coffee shops and more. Perfect.
