Peaceful Tiny House in the Mountains near Seneca Rocks, West Virginia

Hottub w/ breathtaking Mtn views >4mi>Seneca Rocks

"The views were incredible." -Isabella

"Was an amazing place. Perfect for setting out on a beautiful night in front of a fire and just enjoying the beauty that nature bring us." -Ana

Get away from your hectic life for several days and decompress. What better place to do that than in nature?

You'll be centrally located in the best of WV. Nearby activities include hiking, biking, climbing, photography, caving, fishing, sightseeing, and more.

In case you haven't noticed yet, the main reason you'll want to stay here is because the views are just awesome!! (: You have 180 degree views of the mountains from the front porch. At night, if it's clear, you'll have a spectacular view of the night sky. You may even see the Milky Way!

The tiny house itself now has electric and running water! It is no longer off-grid! It even has a hot tub now! You can camp while enjoying all the comforts of home-- glamorous camping, right?

As a part of this experience in nature, you will have a 3-minute walk to the tiny house from the parking area.

The tiny house has a full bathroom, a queen bed, a kitchenette, a fire pit, a picnic table, etc. In the kitchenette, a microwave, Keurig, mini-fridge, and single burner hot plate are provided. We provide 1 small saucepan, 1 small skillet, a few basic cooking utensils, and silverware.

There is no very good place to wash dishes, so you will probably want to bring some paperware.

This area is full of fun things to do, so bring your camera and your hiking shoes! Check out our guidebook for local activities, hikes, and restaurants.

"What a beautiful location to get away for a couple of days and unplug. The little house was everything we could’ve asked for and the views from the front porch were incredible." -Jonathan

You will have access to the whole cabin and the yard area around it. You are also welcome to use the mowed walking path around our pasture.

We enjoy our guests and welcome conversation and questions at any time; however, we come and go and live our lives, so we may not be available immediately at all times.

Your neighbors will be the deer, the chipmunks, and the cows. On one side of the tiny house is the neighbor's pasture where he keeps some cows for part of the year. On the other side of the tiny house is our house (it is a 2-minute walk away).

Spruce Knob Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area is just outside of our front door or back door. Endless hiking, beautiful scenery, and adventures like rock climbing are a short drive away. Check out our Guidebook to Seneca Rocks for an overview of what there is to do and see around the area.

No public transportation.

This area is remote and has little or no mobile phone service, so plan accordingly. You will be able to access the WiFi down by our house, but it will not reach all of the way up to the tiny house.

If you want to have a campfire while you are here, we have firewood for sale. We throw in newspaper, kindling, and a lighter for you to use to start campfires.
