Plenty of bedrooms for everyone and a gorgeous view of the lake. We went in October to take in the fall colors. It was a great base camp for little day trips and hikes.
Nice place. 12 total stayed, a dog, fenced in yard was a major bonus. Weird thing happened Sunday night/ Monday morning about 4am all fire alarms went off for a buzz or two. Beautiful lake, road a little noisy at time. Good times were had by all. Thanks.
Beautiful private property with lots of space for a large family. Very quiet setting. It’s on a main road but at night if you go outside you hear nothing but birds. We rented a large pontoon and our kids and grandkids had a blast tubing. Would love to return !
We enjoyed our time at this home. There was plenty of room for everyone including ample bathrooms for everyone. We had a large family together there, from ages under 1 to grandma and grandpa. There were no beds for infants nor toddles, so we had to bring our own. The screened-in porch was used quite often for dinners and playing games in the evening. It was nice to sit out in the evening also by the fire ring roasting marshmellows. We enjoyed the lake on a Pontoon boat that we had right at the house. The home did need more spices for cooking and a few more large pots and pans for larger meals. There were no trash bags for garbage cans in the kitchen. Upon arrival there were dishes in the dishwasher that had just finished washing and was on the high heat dry cycle. There was 2 loads of towels that still needed to be completed - 1 in the washer and 1 that was still drying in the dryer. Upon our departure we made sure the towels were completed and the home left in very clean shape, with only a few dishes to be put away and the bed linens to be washed with beds to be made.
Our time at this home was very delightful and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a week with a group of 8 friends. Layout of the house was perfect for our group. We had 4 couples, all got their own room with an assigned bathroom. The bunk room was a bonus. The screened porch is amazing! great big dining table. The Fruit Flies were insane, so we had to buy fly paper, which helped. that was just due to the time of year, not the house. The local town was close by, great grocery store, but the house is on a main road, not in a neighborhood - so the driveway can be a little tough to pull out of - and the drive way is steep. We were able to play music outside without complaint. If you want to go to Torch, be aware that from the north side of Elk to the Torch sand bar will take 45 min - 1 hour by boat (we had a speed boat, not a pontoon) moving at a decent pace until you hit the no wake zone. The lift at the house could not support our boat (too tall and too heavy) but we secured to the dock with no issue. the water in the bay immediately in the backyard was like glass for skiing in the morning and evening. Could not have been better. there is debris in the water (logs) to avoid if you have a low prop. Overall, our stay was great, the house was clean and a great set up. The house had all the kitchen equipment we needed. We would visit again for sure. The whole group agreed we would rent the house again.
