We could not have had a better place to stay and appreciated how clean the entire house was. The host provided little surprises/conveniences throughout the house from personal items, snacks, to a well-stocked coffee bar. Even though we didn't have any children staying with us, there were plenty of things provided that would have kept them entertained. The host was very responsive to our messages. For example, we made a couple of changes to our stay after the original booking. They worked with VRBO to remove an added person charge and they quickly reimbursed us when we changed the duration of our original stay. If our travel brings us back to San Antonio, we would definitely stay here again!

The house is set up very nicely for many types of groups, including families with young kids. It is brand new and well stocked. Very clean, plenty of bedding/linens/towels. Great game room and activities to keep everyone entertained. Our son says it's the coolest house he's stayed at. Convenient location for SeaWorld and other attractions, H-E-B nearby for groceries. Check in and communication was smooth. Easy 40min drive to the airport; we took the opportunity to see a few San Antonio museums/sights along the way without adding much driving time. Thanks for helping us have a great family vacation!

Why they chose this property

I chose Redbird Ranch because it truly feels like home peaceful, welcoming, and designed for families to relax and enjoy their time together. When I first found this community, I loved how quiet and safe it felt, but also how close it was to everything guests might need. It struck the perfect balance: a calm retreat without feeling far from the fun.

What really made it stand out to me were the beautiful walking trails, the well‑kept community spaces, and the friendly atmosphere. It’s the kind of neighborhood where you can take an evening stroll, wave to neighbors, and feel completely at ease. I wanted my guests to experience that same comfort.

And of course, being just off Loop 1604 and Potranco Road means you’re minutes from great food, shopping, and some of San Antonio’s best attractions — which makes it ideal for families, military visitors, and anyone wanting a stress‑free stay.
