The place is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a room located in the back of the owner’s home above the garage, but don’t let that fool you—the space is fully renovated and feels like the owners put the same care into it as they would their own home. Everything was spotless, and they provided all the essentials you could need for your stay. The attention to detail really stands out. The Nespresso machine with pods was a great surprise and a nice touch. Overall, a very comfortable and well-thought-out space. Would definitely stay again.

Our one‑night stay at Captain Holmes Carriage House was absolutely wonderful. The home is beautifully renovated, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable — and its location couldn’t be better, just minutes from everything in Mystic.The hosts live right next door and made it clear they were available for anything we might need, though the space was so well‑appointed we didn’t need a thing. We especially appreciated having two coffee makers to choose from, including a Nespresso, which was such a nice touch.We only wish we could have stayed longer, but Monday morning called us back to work. We’re already looking forward to returning!
