About this property

Beautiful Lake Front Home On Como with boat and motor included

Because this property is located at the end of Lake Como and at the end of a private road it offers seclusion and intimacy while being only 3 miles from downtown Lake Geneva. The house has newly been renovated but still maintains its old cottage charm. Amenities include : , 3 Bedrooms, 1 1/2 Bathrooms, Fireplace, Washer, Dryer, Central Air, Incredible Stereo, 3 TVs, Wi-Fi, Prime Cable TV Programing, Gas and Charcoal grills. Lake Como is a great lake for large mouth bass as well as northern pike , a 16' 6'' alum fishing boat with 10 hp motor is provided at no charge . A canoe, 3 kayaks as well as floating devices for swimming are also provided. The pier goes in May 1st and comes out October 15.

For winter snowmobilers, the trails can be accessed from the yard via the lake. If we are short on snow this year the lake will home to ice boating and skaters.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

The title sums up this lake house. It was a perfect fit for us! Andy was the perfect host - he has the house well stocked! The kitchen is has anything you would need to stay in and cook (grocery stores a 10-15 minute drive) and the Getaway Restaurant is a five minute walk for those who want to eat out. There is a nice boat for those who want to fish and the deck provides great views and awesome sunsets!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Annual visit

We have been coming to this property for the last five years. Always enjoyed our stay. The lake is not crowded so kayaking is great way to relax and take in the scenery. Beautiful sunsets in the evening.

Birthday weekend

Lovely cottage on the lake with fishing boat and canoe and kayaks. The house is third generation family owned and maintained beautifully. Exactly what we hoped for on our weekend on the lake!

Lovely lake stay

We loved every thing about our vacation house: the views, quiet lake, dock access for fishing and swimming, the deck with table and grills, and of course the boats! The house had a lot of history and we slept 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and two kids very comfortably. If our family wasn't growing we would definitely love to return next year.

We have been here multiple times, and have always enjoyed our stays. Love the history of the house still being in the same family. The lake is not crowded, great for kayaking. Beautiful sunsets at the end of the day.

Family get away

We had a great stay with our two toddlers and dog. Lake was warm to swim in and the home had everything we needed and was well labeled. Looking forward to coming back again some time soon.

Amazing Weekend Getaway

Coming back to this amazing cottage with one of the best lake views ever for the second time in the fall, it was somehow even better than the summer trip! No matter the season, this is the perfect weekend getaway for a family or group of friends!

Wonderful Long Weekend Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Lake Como with friends. Easily slept 6. Beautiful lake view and fishing boat a plus! Also 2 nice eating and drinking establishments within walking distance was also a benefit Andy the host was very communicative and helpful. Easy access to downtown Lake Geneva and Lake Geneva itself.

Thon Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. Love boats and that restaurants were right down the street. Enjoyed everything about the house. We wished the water was walk in so we could play in it. So many weeds it was hard to swim or fish. But we still had a great time. Thank you

Great accomodations!

Everything you need is provided whether you want a day in the sun or things to do inside in inclement weather. We really enjoy watching the wide variety of birds right outside the kitchen window. Also swimming off the pier or taking the boat out for a tour of the lake. We've been staying here the last few years now and really enjoy it.

Relaxing time

This is our 4th year staying at this property. Always have a nice relaxing time here. Kayaking, floating in the water, watching the hummingbirds and all types of other birds in the bird feeders. Nice getaway.

Family gathering

This was a most enjoyable home and location. The perks were generous with use of fishing boat, canoe, kayak, fishing poles and bikes. Our family enjoyed our gathering; all that was needed was food and lots of love. Thanks Andy for a gracious experience!

Great property right on the water! Older home, but very well maintained. Had a great time celebrating my moms birthday with family. Great time ice fishing and I’m sure would be great spring thru fall using the fishing boat supplied. Andy was a pleasure to work with. I will try to return.

Great home, great views

The home was just as described and fit our group perfectly. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cookware needed, bedrooms were great, and the view of the lake was amazing. Wood burning fireplace was stocked with wood which was great considering the cold temps the weekend we visited. Everyone in our party would love to visit again in the summer to explore and experience the lake in warm weather. Andy was great with all communication. 5 stars for sure!

Perfect for our group of teens

We needed a place to stay for our teens and their friends. This was cheaper than renting 2 hotel rooms, plus allowed our kids to hang out together in the living room and have meals without going out to eat everything meal. We lit a fire and played games whenever we were running around enjoying the area. I already miss eating breakfast by the big window overlooking the lake. Everything was labeled and clearly communicated. The house is full of history and art! It really felt like he was sharing his beloved home with us. I only hope that we treated his home as well as he treated his guests!

Great Stay at Lake Como House

The property is easy to get to and just a short drive outside Lake Geneva off of Hwy 50. It is on a dead end road, so quiet with little traffic. The house is well appointed and cozy - the kitchen is well stocked and very functional for making meals. The wood burning fireplace was great after xc skiing during the day - the living room is homey and a great place to relax and unwind. The birdfeeder outside the window was great with Cardinals and Red Bellied Woodpeckers showing up every day to feed. I had to work while there, so having a large desk with a lake view was perfect. Bedrooms are roomy and comfortable - it was nice having a TV in the upstairs master. All in all, a great stay!!!

I am 72, single and the third generation to own the house. My grand parents bought the property in 1923 which was just a summer home. In 1949 they built the present house moved here from Chicago and retired. As kids my brother and I spent many summers up here with our with our grandparents for which I have many fond memories.

What makes this property unique

This area is rich in history about Chicago gangsters from the 20's. Bugs Moran use to frequent the hotel close by . I have a vague memory of the hotel owner who remarried Morans wife and moved her in the house next door. My father claims he use to play with Bugsy's son.
