Emmlot farm was an excellent home for both adults and children. The location, outdoor space, fireplace, and updated bathrooms were the highlight. We would definitely stay here again

Large family escape
Fantastic spot for a large family weekend get together. The dining room was sensational for gathering and lingering at meal times. We’ll be back for sure.
Picturesque scenery. Great location for walking and kids enjoying exploring the hillside. The unique homestead had everything to the fire place and ample amenities. Plenty of rooms and bedding. just lovely.
Property was peaceful with plenty of room to move about the house & property. We could all move around the property & all came together as a family for meals on one dining room table. Fantastic location. Country feel but close to shops.
Mary and Sarah were very helpful during our stay, the home is well equipped with bedding, towels, toiletries, basic food items and laundry products which was very helpful for our big group. The outdoor area was perfect for the kids to play and the supplied sports equipment was much appreciated. The house doesn’t have WIFI but we loved that we could all unplug from devices and enjoy the week together to encourage the kids to play outside more. Thank you for a lovely stay, highly recommend.
I booked this home for some of my colleagues going to work in the area. To say they were impressed was an understatement. They loved the home and tranquil surroundings and the location was great for where they were working. The hosts were also very accommodating and easy to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to book this home again if we had future work in the area.
Beautiful property, everyone has their own space. Very private and secluded, time to hang out with family and have no interruptions, beautiful views all around. The only thing missing was aircon as we stayed on a very hot day 38 degrees Celsius and 30 over night, just greatful it was only one of the days we stayed. Other than that it was fantastic.
We were very happy with our stay in Greenwith, the property is a hidden gem on the fringes of suburbia. there was plenty of room for our three families with the generous bedroom options available. The property was stocked with necessities by the hosts that go far further than we have experienced before - we were very happy to not have to shop for bread and milk when we arrived after our long drive.
All had a good time and enjoyed our stay in Greenwith
We came from four different states. We were a range of ages from 8-73. The place was so well set up for our family. We celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and being a family. The children enjoyed playing cricket and footy with some of the adults. The Bush Mechanic DVD was a hit as we knew most of the actors. Board games were played with much laughter and a little manipulation. Food was eaten in abundance. We really appreciated the fruit bowl, different types of milk and breakfast supplies. All in all a great four days.
House was lovely and clean. The back yard is decent size nice lawn too which I don’t think it shown very well in photos. There is also a decent size lounge area that isn’t shown in photos. We had a great time. Kitchen was very well equipped and there is a great flat top BBQ and grill top BBQ. The shops were only a 5 min drive away despite feeling like we were in a secluded area. Thank you very much ladies 😊
This was a wonderful place to stay that was close to shops but also secluded enough to make you feel like you were in the middle of nowhere. The hosts were wonderful in working out how to best fit people's sleeping as we were a very big group and the photos of this place do not do justice for how nice and spacious the place actually is.
We had family gathering for Xmas in July - the kids loved the sandpit and we loved the kitchen and long table - Xmas in July lunch was so much fun and this lovely property allowed us to do it all ourselves - Highly recommend this place for extended family gatherings - at ours we had from 9 months to 79 years and it was great. Close to a great IGA, and we did an lunch outing up to the Barossa - this place has it all!
Property was beautifully presented with a few little extras such as fruit bowl ,milk bread etc to make the stay easier. We had the full family so 9 adults and 2 little ones which the property catered for so well with many fond memories achieved of our stay . Shops etc easy to get to by car whilst property in its own sanctuary of sorts. We did a private wine bus tour on one day via Steve @Cellar Door which was great and a few other outings otherwise we all just relaxed and caught up which the property makes so easy as a group or smaller given its size and amenities . Cannot rate this property highly enough if you are looking for a fun homely environment with great hosts in Sarah and Mary .
The property is absolutely stunning both house itself and the surrounding. As the house sits in the middle of the land, it is so quite peaceful & private. The surrounding nature is gorgeous to just sit and relax. The house is stunning as well as it's full of character. The hosts (Mary & Sarah) are really accommodating and nice.
