Big Bear Valley offers something for everyone throughout all of the seasons. Minutes from world class skiing and snowboarding, beautiful Big Bear Lake and The Village where you’ll find dining, nightlife, entertainment and our local shops.

𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗔
Step into a beautiful and thoughtfully curated 1940s vintage cabin. Cozy and nostalgic with plenty of seating options to choose from: green velvet chairs, a sleeper sofa, or an Eames-style rocker. You can read by the window, cozy up on the pull-out sleeper sofa for a mid-day nap (Sheets and blankets can be found in the mudroom), or watch a movie on our Smart TV (Chromecast or AirPlay from your accounts on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube and much more). Keep things toasty with a charming, gas-powered, old-style stove fireplace heater (All the fun without the effort). Kick back and enjoy the fire, listen to music on a vintage vinyl record player, and let all your worries drift away during your stay.

Our dining area is cozy and conveniently located in the main living area. Dine at our custom wood-plank table with mid-century walnut chairs or at our bar countertop, which serves as an alternative option for dining or as a dedicated workspace.

Please note...there are cameras located at the driveway and entrances of the property. These are solely on the exterior of the property. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy and other property policies. It in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas. 𝗦𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗟
Snow removal services are supposed to arrive within 24 hours of any snowfall more than 4+ inches, to clear the driveway and a pathway to the main entrance. Snow removal companies cannot guarantee a specific time the property will be serviced. Therefore, guests may have to shovel a spot to park if they arrive before the snow removal company or if it snows during their stay. There have been times in larger storms (2ft+ of snowfall) when snow removal can take longer. It doesn’t happen often, and our other guests have always been able to make it work. Just know that in those cases we are doing everything we can to get someone out there.

𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥
Please be aware that weather conditions can change rapidly especially during winter months. We are unable to honor last-minute cancellations due to weather/road conditions. Chains or 4WD/AWD vehicle requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. Guests booking a stay in the winter should be prepared for the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear. This requirement is enforced by city officials and law enforcement. We recommend arriving before dark; guests arriving late during the winter months may encounter icy roads and long delays.

Other things to note
𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥
The home does not have central air-conditioning, but rather during the warmer summer months the cabin’s bedrooms will be equipped with portable window AC units. Central AC is not typical for mountain cabins. Bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Powerful oscillating circulator fans are also provided.
