Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Wash all dishes.
Per City/County ordinance, garbage must be taken by the guest to one of the locations listed on your confirmation.

I love this house so much. The property is beautiful with huge trees and a big grassy front yard. It has views from every window and is just a comfortable and cozy place.

Great dog friendly cabin

The view, the cabin , the location… all made for a great trip. The fenced in dog friendly yard was amazing for our dogs. Sitting out on the deck at night playing games was relaxing. Great restaurants nearby. Didn't cook in kitchen but made use of the bbq. Will be returning to this cabin again!

Stillwater Cove Lakefront

It was a wonderful little cabin. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The views are just beautiful. The large fireplace in the cozy family-room was wonderful. We plan on renting the exact same little cabin on our next visit. The check-in and check-out was really well done.

Wonderful stay!

It was an amazing and cozy experience. Also close to everything that you'd want to see in Big Bear! My two dogs enjoyed the large backyard and deck too !

The view of the lake is beautiful. The fully-fenced yard is so nice. Our little 10 lb. dog is small, so could have gotten under in a few places, but we just always went with him. He loved the lawns and trees and breezes. The cabin is charming on the outside. Reminded those of us who have been coming to BBL for a long time of the cabins of old, with updates, of course :). The pictures of the interiors are light and bright, but in reality it is very dark inside, mostly because the lighting fixtures and lamps are old and some broken, and with low-wattage bulbs. That’s an easy fix. The Bedroom 2 is dark and cave-like and has no nightstands next to the bed. These few things keep me from giving it 5 stars.

Off Season stay at a beautiful cabin

We had a great stay on Big Bear lake. The Dogs loved the fenced in yard, the Kitchen had everything and the fireplace came in handy on those chilly nights. Would highly recommend.

Best Cabin!!

We had so much fun staying at the Stillwater Cove Lakefront cabin. Beautiful view of the lake! Cabin has its own dock for fishing or evenings sitting on the lake. Cabin was clean with a beautiful kitchen space. We will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing Place to Relax and Regenerate

I went to Stillwater Cove Lakefront by myself to regenerate and recharge, away from the many stressors in my life right now. My lupus is very active right now and I needed a few days alone so my body could get some relief. Being so close to the lake so I could take easy strolls along the shore was just what I needed, since fatigue is an huge issue right now. And being able to see the lake from the cabin windows refreshed my soul. I will definitely be using this cabin again. A massive thank you to the owners for making their home so comfortable and sharing it with others.

The cabin was great. Well equipped. We stayed for 10 days. Considering this was dog friendly one of the gates did not lock so we had to rig it. The master bed was extremely soft but the other bedroom was perfect.

The property has a great view and a wonderful yard for dogs. Our dogs really, really enjoyed it. But we did not know the house was located next to a dead-end road where people walked, biked, parked, walked their dogs, etc. So, thankfully, the week we were there it wasn't too busy but there were people using the road at times - so if you have reactive dogs or want privacy, it's something to keep in mind. The PRO's for this property - the view, the backyard and BBCC is very responsive if you need to reach out.The CONS - the property was not very clean in our opinion. The couch was dirty (we covered it with blankets). There were spider webs EVERYWHERE. And I don't mean little ones you'd expect for a cabin - these were like ones you'd expect of a house that has been unattended for 100 years. It was out of control and disconcerting. Outside and inside - some covering the handle to open the window so we didn't even touch the window to open it. Needless to say we killed some spiders and there were also ants in the house. It just didn't make for a comfortable stay - yes you expect some for a cabin but not at this level. The windows were hard to open and some didn't, there were light bulbs missing. Also, the check-in process was ridiculous, including sending a pic of your credit card! Finally, I did not appreciate BBCC leaving a magnet on the refrigerator suggesting how we should rate them. Unfortunately, even though the yard was great, we would not stay here again.

Georgous Vintage Cabin

We had the most amazing stay at this cabin. The location was hands down the most relaxing place we have stayed at up in Big Bear. The cabin was clean,warm & cozy. It had everthing we needed . We had our dogs and they loved the fenced garden , we all enjoyed lazy afternoons out on the deck watching the lake . We rented a pontoon boat from the marina close by , that was a great day out . Big Bear never disapoints when we come up every year in October . Thank you Big Bear Cool Cabins for another great stay!

This cabin was amazing for a long weekend trip. The view out to the lake and around the house was beautiful and it was very quiet and peaceful. We brought our dog and he loved running around in the yard and walking down to the lake. Beware if you have small dogs they may be able to get out under the fence in a few areas. Everything in the house worked well, the beds were very cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed.
