Welcome to the Blue Bonnet Cottage, a cozy retreat tucked away in our private backyard in McGregor, TX. Designed with whimsical charm and modern comforts, this studio-style cottage is the perfect spot for a Magnolia Market weekend, Baylor parents, solo travelers, families, Harris Creek guests, & a quiet couples getaway.

We are equipped with a kitchenette, pack-&-play, yard games, outdoor seating, fire pit, gated private backyard/parking, and a quiet neighborhood. We can’t wait for your stay!

We had such a great stay here perfect little getaway for a couple. The place was incredibly clean and had a cozy, homey feel that made it easy to relax right away..The host was also amazing super attentive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. It really made the whole experience even better.Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway.

Why they chose this property

The Harris Creek neighborhood is really unique. It is a well established neighborhood with mature trees. Legend has it, that the brick from our house is the brick from the original streets of downtown Waco. This area is walkable, less than 20 minutes to get to Magnolia, Baylor, downtown Waco, SpaceX, and the airport.

What makes this property unique

Our property is the perfect getaway, because it offers complete privacy. The unit is behind a gated fence, and a separate from the main house with its own entrance. This unit was also completed in October 2025, so everything is brand new. We live on the property, so we are available if you need anything!
