Great location and amenities. I was able to walk to restaurants. Bed was super comfy and the faux fireplace had nice ambiance during the holidays. Very clean and new and comfy!

I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay Pennie. You were a phenomenal guest and you’re welcome back anytime!
The apartment was like new. The bed very comfortable. Parking on site worked out well. It was not well stocked for any type of cooking as far as pots, pans etc…, but that suited us fine. The apartment complex had a glitch with the app that allowed access to the elevator, but I’m sure that issue will be resolved. Just know you need a smartphone and an app in order to enter.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
My main issue was getting into the building. First, it was unclear and incomplete instructions. Getting in at midnight I was unable to get a hold of the host (understandable), but a better communication strategy would have been appreciated. The system itself is clunky, and I was unable to lock the door the entirety of my stay. The building is secure so that wasn’t a big deal to me. After getting in, where VRBO had to put me up for the night (and did to their credit), I found the host responsive and the unit lovely.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your arrival experience was frustrating. Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and all access instructions were sent clearly and well in advance of that time through the Vrbo platform. The entry system is the same one successfully used by all guests and is designed to be secure.
I understand that arriving late at night can sometimes add stress, and once I was made aware of the issue, I responded as quickly as possible and am glad to hear you found the unit lovely afterward. I appreciate your comments and will continue working to ensure smooth arrivals for all guests.
The host was very communicative and the place was so clean and comfortable. Would come back any time I come back to Houston. The fireplace was a very nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the restroom was spacious. It had everything we needed.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in
Pros:Great location for visiting the Houston Heights area. We did not use other building amenities such as pool and gym, but did walk by them and they appeared well situated.Cons:Communication around parking was frustrating. I reached out prior to check-in and was told details would be provided the day of arrival. After following up again, I received only limited information. Parking is extremely tight and limited, and when we arrived, there were no available spaces onsite. I had to double park just to unload. The entry process was also inconvenient. As noted in another review, the door lock system is clunky—it requires downloading an app, creating an account, and using Bluetooth. There were no clear instructions from the host or within the app on how to properly lock the door when leaving.Basic supplies were lacking. We were provided with only about a quarter roll (1/4) of toilet paper for two people over a three-night stay. When I asked the host about additional supplies, I was told that one roll is standard and that stores are nearby. Most concerning was the cleanliness. The toilet seat was not clean, and we found long black hair strands on the floor in the bathroom, closet, and kitchen. We will not be staying here again.
