This charming Grand Lake cabin is centrally located. A perfect home base for your Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake vacation. Small at 695 SF. 1 Bedroom, but also has a self-inflating 16'' queen air mattress that works well in the living room or sunroom. Large private fenced yard perfect for BBQs and the dogs to run around and play freely. Fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and gas range. Extra breakfast nook in the cabin with desk, perfect for remote working.

Welcome to the Antler's Cabin! Your adorable updated rustic cabin experience right downtown Grand Lake, Colorado and 5 minute drive to the West entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park! Walk to historic downtown or Point Park on the Continental Divide Trail for some of the best views in Grand Lake!

**We recommend max 2 adults as it's a small 1 bedroom cabin**

There are two main entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. Estes Park is the East entrance and Grand Lake is the West entrance.

This is a true mountain cabin with a backyard full of mountain wildflowers and taller grass. If you’re looking for a manicured backyard this isn’t the place, we like to keep with the geographic location and keep it natural!

The cabin layout?
Enter into the front door into the living area with direct site out to the fenced back yard. The living area has a Queen pull-out couch, gas fireplace and TV. The dining table is directly to the right of the entrance with a large picture window. Continue right and just before the kitchen off the living area is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Walking into the kitchen, which is fully stocked with pots, pans, drip coffee maker, oils and spices and more you can enjoy cooking meals after a fun day of adventure! There are two rooms off the kitchen. In the front of the house is a "bonus room" with a small table and a built in desk. This room can be for morning coffee, kids playroom, remote working or an extra eating area. In the back of the cabin off the kitchen is the Queen bedroom. We hope you can relax and enjoy this quintessential Grand Lake cabin for all your adventure and relaxing needs during your stay.

Local Summer Activities: Boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, and amazing opportunities in Rocky Mountain National Park and Arapahoe National Forest. Championship golf courses, horseback riding and hayrides. World Class Theater located steps from the cabin in the Town of Grand lake, boutique shopping, good restaurants, and fun on the boardwalk.

Local Winter Activities: downhill skiing and snowboarding at Ski Granby Ranch (~20 miles away) and at Winter Park Ski Area (45 minutes away), cross country skiing (3 areas nearby including the Grand Lake Nordic center just 5 minutes from the condo!). Grand Lake is snowmobiling capital of Colorado enjoy more than 130 miles of groomed trails, ice fishing, ice skating, Winter Carnivals, sleigh rides, dog sledding, and snowshoeing.

The cabin is small at 695 ft.² with a large private fenced-in back yard.

Grand Lake is the west entrance to Rocky Mountain national Park. Estes Park is the east entrance. This cabin is in Grand Lake. The road through Rocky Mountain national Park is typically only open Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather depending.

Rocky Mountain national Park has a timed entry system in the peak summer months. Typically reservations are needed May through October. Please plan accordingly!

This is a rustic, classic charming Grand Lake cabin at an affordable price.… and pet friendly! If you are looking for large cabin with all the bells and whistles, this might not be your place.

New Nectar mattress.

There is no A/C in the mountains, we will have fans available and windows are recommended to be opened during our cool summer nights as we are ~8,400 feet above sea level so the evenings cool off nicely.

There are active mammals (chipmunks, marmots, etc) in the area. They burrow around the property. We also live near the national park in a high alpine environment so there are bears, moose, elk and deer be mindful when walking the neighborhoods! Always keep your pets on leash.

Seasonality:
There are seasonal factors to consider when booking. There are two mud seasons/shoulder seasons in the Mountains. They are loosely from mid-October to late-November and mid/late-April to mid/late-May. During these times of year activities can be limited including some restaurants closed. We love Grand Lake year round and there is always something to do!

Peak Season: May-September
Peak Holidays/Times: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and March Spring Break. Pricing is reflective of the time of year. Please consider seasonality and research Grand Lake prior to booking to ensure this is the best time of year for you to visit!

2 dog maximum. Pet fee is additional to cover the cost of extra cleaning. pet feed covers two dogs forthe entire stay. We keep our pet fee low much lower than it would cost to board a dog(s)! This fee helps keep our property pet-friendly for future guests.
