The cottage was a great stay for my wife and I getting away for a few days on the bourbon trail. Lawrenceburg is home to several awesome distilleries like wild turkey, four roses and Larrakin, all of which are just a few minutes away. The cottage is well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, and a comfy living space for some down time after a hard day of bourbon tastings. The cottage was very clean, easy to get to and centrally located to several major areas we wanted to visit. The host communications were excellent and I would definitely stay there again if we come back to town.
The home was clean and efficiently utilized space. It was easy to maintain. I loved the location. Yesenia always responded quickly and her information was clear.
Receptiveness and availability of hostess to a small handful of concerns. Beauty of the rental unit itself and the view of the Courthouse (made famous in a sixties Hollywood production, "The Flim Flam Man). A part of Kentucky you might drive through bit rarely drive to. Really glad I took the time to do so in this lovely and welcoming stopping point on the Bourbon Trail.
Such a cute place to stay! The directions were perfect and check in was a breeze. However, the owner does not respond quickly or at all. Seems to have automated responses. A couple of quick notes for the next renter. There is no dishwasher. Which is odd, as it’s a big kitchen. We hand washed our dishes, but wondered about cleanliness, if counting on renters to do this? The unit is modern and decorated so uniquely. We loved it. Bed was comfortable, but the loft was very angled, so watch your head! Also, keep the air on, as the loft can get warm overnight, even when the lower level is cold. There is a nice fan in the loft. Overall, it’s a great place. Just don’t count on a response to questions from the owner.
Stayed for the KBF weekend. Checking in was easy, all info given and no issues. Space was perfect for 2 people and was super clean. Perfect area to stay to do bourbon tours. It’s a loft sleeping area but all is true to the pictures. Would definitely stay again.
