The unit is approximately 1005 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. There are 2 full baths. The master has en suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The hallway bathroom has a tub/shower combo as well.

Phoenix VII is a 15 story building in Orange Beach approximately 8.0 miles East of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Phoenix VII has a large sun deck area with outdoor pool and kiddie pool. There is an indoor pool, two hot tubs, sauna, fitness room and inside racquetball courts . Phoenix VII also has lighted tennis courts, half-court basketball court, BBQ grilling area and gazebos. There is a 2 car limit. Parking passes purchased at on-site front desk. Sleeps 6.

The con was when there was lightening, they also closed the indoor pool along with the outdoor. We have stayed many places and they have never closed indoor pool bc of weather. Everyone was a little confused. We chose a place with an indoor pool for the kids just incase it rains so that was a disappointment.

Renting through VRBO was okay. Dislikes: information on how to pay final payment is unclear; picking up key at different high traffic location was not fun, but key was easily accessed though management site was closed. The rental property needs updating and a thourough cleaning to help people feel more comfortable staying at that condo. The stay was ok, but we would not stay in that condo again. The owner did have ample blankets, linen, dish and soap supplies, though very antique blender.. Bathroom tub is clogged. Ceiling fans dirty. Lamps and decor had thick dust. Tub knobs that should be clear were black. Property was livable but highly uncomfortable due to poor upkeep.

The floors were very dirty upon arrival I even went out and purchased a mop because all of our feet were black by the end of the first night from waking around. Bed linens and towels were very thin and need to be replaced Shower curtain liners were stained and grossed my 10 Yr old boy out which should say something Would recommend having some plastic plates and cups for families with Little’s this condo only has glass everything. Would also suggest black out curtain in the guest bedroom due to the outside condo lighting that cannot be turned off. Mattresses are hard and everyone work up stiffThe ocean view was great and we enjoyed the time on the balcony in the morning. I really don’t write negative reviews often and hate to do so but A few changes and updates to minor things would really do wonders especially for the price you pay for the week.

Very nice condo and location.

Nice condo, but definitely needs to find a better cleaning company. Also its time to replace shower liners, sheets, and blankets. You will need to bring extra towels and wash cloths unless you want to be washing them everyday. We have been coming to Orange Beach for years staying at the Phoenix's but this was our first time at Phoenix 7, very disappointed because on day 1 we had our stuff stolen off the beach ( brand new umbrella, chairs and wagon) and that had never happened before. Overall our family vacation was great because we were together, but it was different this time.

The view from the balcony was wonderful - although one (sometimes two) of the elevators on the property was not working which made for very long waits going up and down. We even took the stairs a few times, but eleven stories is a long way. The beach was terrific! It’s a bit of a drive from the property management office where the keys must be picked up but probably wouldn’t have taken too long if we had come in on any day other than Saturday (LOTS of traffic that day). Everyone I spoke with at the management company was very helpful and kind.

Everything was great except having to purchase parking passes separately. I felt they should have been included in overall price. But other than that there aren’t any complaints.
