The place was clean, location was quiet and close to downtown Dayton, and the host communicated quickly with us. Lighting was a bit of an issue- no lamps, just ceiling lights. That made it difficult to read at night without having the whole room lit up. Being a first floor residence, it didn’t have privacy curtains in the kitchen so it seemed very exposed. Overall, just missing details like no sugar by the coffee maker or blankets out on the couches or a nightstand by one of the beds or a tv in the main room.
I stayed overnight at this property and I must say it went great. The host was very responsive and provided very clear check in instructions. I had slight difficulty getting into the lockbox to access the key. I did not sleep that well as the tenant next door was on the phone well after midnight, thin walls I suppose. I opted out of sleeping in the other bedroom because the sheets didn’t seem to be as clean. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and can appreciate that this property was clean, looked like the photos, and had two bedrooms and bathrooms. I also appreciated the locked entrance to the main building, needing a code to enter for added safety. The remote in one of the bedrooms was missing the back cover for the batteries but still functioned fine. The restaurant around the corner, Culture was very yummy! I would recommend this place to anyone passing through/staying in Dayton.
This was a beautiful location, close to the convention center where we attending a conference. Host was great with communication and helpful answering questions and concerns. Facilities were excellent, clean, quiet and well equipped for needs
Spacious, clean, comfortable. Clear communication with host. The neighbourhood is walkable and delightful! Well maintained , historic houses built in the mid-1800’s, with beautiful gardens, friendly people.Nightstands by the bed and a lamp in the living room would be helpful.Good restaurants and interesting shops nearby. I enjoyed the books (Taylor Caldwell and Dwight Eisenhower!).
