A tastefully renovated 3 bedroom, one-story residence with a separate wood sauna located on 19 acres of forest and blueberry fields. It is an easy 20 minute drive to Houghton, Michigan Technological University and the Isle Royale National Park boat dock. You will experience the secluded peace and quiet of the Upper Peninsula, as the house is well off the main roads. During the day hike, fish, and explore Lake Superior beaches, waterfalls, and visit the many historical and tourist attractions in the Copper Country. In the evening sit on the deck after a wood-fired sauna, and watch deer as the moon comes up over the surrounding trees.
There are many blueberry and other berry bushes available on the property to pick and enjoy in the fully equipped kitchen. Depending on the weather, blueberry season usually starts by the 4th week in July and lasts to the end of September.
