It was our second time staying here and we loved it again. Walking distance to everything you need. Ellen was very helpful throughout our stay and we’ll be back next year.
We loved this cute little cottage which was in just the right location. Breakfast was provided and the house was nice and cosy. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.
Great property well located to explore the Ferguson valley and nearby coastal towns.
We enjoyed our stay. The living room is a bit small and squashy, as the main living roo m is converted to a large bedroom to sleep 6 in total, great if you just want beds and won’t be spending much time there. The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows and sheets. Overall we’d recommend this to anyone looking for a short get away in a convenient location.
Nice house in a fantastic location. Can walk to pub, general store etc. The house has everything you need. Heaps of milk, cereal, coffee and bread. Ellen was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!
The experience staying at the property was positive from the start. Quick approval, well informed on how to check in. House was very comfy, plenty of room and only 15 minutes to the 4x4 beach and roughly 30 to 60 minutes to all the tourist hotspots. Aircon worked very well and had all the utensils for the kitchen and cleaning to create awesome feeds (especially with all the local produce). I would recommend this place and stay again, affordable and private. Thank you very much.
Loved Boyanup and this property, despite some equipment being rather average. It was cold so not good to have to reset the air-conditioner remote every time we used it.

Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy the house at all. Everything looked dirty, there were cats hair everywhere, cockroaches fell on kids while sleeping, therefore we decided to leave one day earlier.

Hello
It is disappointing that you did not contact me with your concerns, we have never sighted cockroaches and I am not sure how they fall from ceiling unless children were eating in the beds. Yourself took pets to the property, perhaps your own pet hair as the place was cleaned prior to your arrival
Regards Ellen
Beds comfortable, dining setting needs attention otherwise all OK

3 stars at best!
This house was obviously bought as an investment rental and very little done to it. Carpets pulled up and the floor left as is. VERY smelly bedding, like an old man's room. I booked two nights, after the first, I washed the pillow protectors as I'm guessing they are rarely washed. Also my sheets and pillow cases.
Mouse droppings on the kitchen bench, under the toaster! ewww. The tv and sofas are on the back sleepout No Internet, no netflix just a small tv. Costs less than $50 to buy a netflix box. Listing says 2 dogs allowed, and yet there is no fence or gate and I had to leave the youngest on a lead to go into the garden to toilet. The lawn out the back has not been mowed in a month, my dogs allergy to grass is usually confined to her feet, not her whole body. The floor boards in the tv room at the back door are rotten and broken and someone is going to get hurt or worse. There is a dirty rug covering them. The toilet is way too low to use comfortably, very difficult to arise from. Looking for a power point, there is so much dirt, hair, dust and debris under the bed/s I cant even estimate how long since it was mopped. Disgusting.
The only thing giving this property any stars at all is the comfort of the bed, which was so good I slept 11 hours. Probably because the first morning it was bin day, and only a road width from the school car park, I only got 6 hours. She was understanding about my late getting up(alarm- phone flat). However she just stood there outside while I struggled in agony to pack up the car and handle my dogs. I have one arm in a sling from a dislocated shoulder and fracture and a walking stick in my other hand, I know its not her job to help with my bags to the car, but I would have been out of there much quicker, and less stressed. It's just common decency to help a soul in need and there was no time to take my pain meds. It would have been a kindness to appreciate, just 5 minutes of her time. No disinfectant, bleach, clean cloths or tea towels, so cleaning couldn't be done effectively. In my honest opinion; not a nice restful stay at all.

Thank you for your review, however you did not follow the policies of the place
You did not leave the property until 2pm, when we had others arriving, with little time to prepare for their visit.
I am afraid of dogs so am reluctant to assist where there are dogs, I did come inside to assist when arrived, however the 2 staffys jumped on me and I did not feel safe, hence why I waited outside.
There are cleaning products in the kitchen and bathroom cupboards.
The house was left with dog food all over the floors, wet towels and linen left on floor.
Dirty dishes left in sink and electrical food processor left in sink of water.
We do not claim to have internet or WIFI or Neflex, these are personal requirements that we do not provide.
We do not claim to have enclosed garden, pets are allowed in the house for this reason or you can bring a cage, leash or other to contain your animals.
I am sorry you are unwell however it was not arranged for us to assist you in any way and at the late checkout we were not in a position to help as we were having to damage control our next guests late check in
Regards Ellen
The house was well located and easy to get to. The community centre with its gardens across the property was very handy. The fresh bread, milk and breakfast cereal was a bonus. As stated, the property is old but functional. The bathroom, shower and toilets were clean and bed linen fresh. Not sure if the house had been vaccumed before we arrived as it was only vacated that morning. Floors were dusty, crumbs around the kettle and the cooktop was not cleaned. We mentioned the cooktop to Ellen as we did not want her to think we had left it like that. She came as soon as possible and cleaned it for us. Did not mention anything else as we had swept the floors and wiped up by then. Would we stay again, most definitely yes as the property cannot be faulted overall and we could stay with our dog. We are always appreciative of places that allow dogs indoors as it then allows us to travel with ours without any worries.

We had a lovely weekend in Boyanup, the house was perfect for our needs and in a great location. The host was extremely helpful and check in was simple and smooth. Thanks for a great stay!
Property was exactly as described. Old but comfy and handy to the event we were here for. We even supplied the soccer team with oranges from the tree in the backyard for the whole weekend. The only thing is that there’s only 1 toilet and it’s in the bathroom so it made it a bit of a rush in the morning with people trying to shower and get ready for the day.
