We loved our stay here! We were looking for a taste of what it feels like to live in the hills of LA and this place gave us just that. It gave an amazing view in a super relaxing setting. The studio is small and minimal with basic amenities but it fit our style. Our host Felix was very accommodating and helpful. His response was almost immediate whenever we had questions. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Though Felix masterfully balances attentiveness with valuing guest privacy, the property is undergoing significant repair and maintenance. The stairs leading down to our studio were in need of repair and pose significant fall risk, and everyday we were there (Thurs-Sun), we were awoken by construction work by 8:30am. Amenities such as parking and the pool are accurately described, however, failure to disclose that the property has multiple available units (not private) and the extent to which active construction is occurring makes the listing feel misleading. Beyond other guests being present on the property, we also experienced construction/maintenance workers being outside our door daily. Additionally, basic amenities like face towels, cleaning supplies (to wash our dishes, sanitize the toilet that is in the shower, etc) were not provided. Overall, the property is in a beautiful location, and Felix is very welcoming. However, it does not currently feel in apt condition for hosting guests. I am curious to know how my nightly rate compares to guests who were able to experience a more private, disruption-free stay when construction is not actively happening on site. I frankly feel it should be adjusted to reflect the experience we had if it hasn’t already.
