Ski-Accessible-during main season-Condo In Snowmass Village, CO - with Hot Tub!

This recently renovated ski-accessible condo is located in the heart of Snowmass Village, Colo. It is the perfect getaway for a family's ski vacation on the slopes, hiking vacation in the mountains, or for a couple's romantic and cozy getaway. Its close proximity to the base village, the children's center (the Treehouse kids' adventure center in Snowmass Village), as well as the trendy shops, and many restaurants make this condo the ideal location for an ideal vacation.

This condo is ski accessible (not ski-in/ski-out) during MOST of the ski season. Once the snow starts to melt on the lower part of the mountain, you can no longer traverse directly to the mountain.

But during most of the season, put on your skis at the front door and you can be at the chairlift in about 3 minutes. Or enjoy a short stroll up to the Snowmass Mall for shopping or for a delicious meal at one of many restaurants. You can also take a short walk to Snowmass Center to pick up groceries to create a cozy dinner for your hungry vacationing crew.

There is a hot tub just down a short flight of stairs from the front door - great after a long day of skiing - or just any time... FYI - It is not private to just our unit, it is for our small development.

The condo has 2 bedrooms that sleep 5-6 and has a living room with a flat-screen TV and a very comfortable queen-sized sofa bed. There is a renovated kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances and a dining room area that seats six. Amenities include a hot tub, parking (for one vehicle), flat screen TV (basic cable included), wifi (included), outdoor storage locker, washer/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen utensils, dishwasher, linens, and a fireplace - everything you need for a vacation in any season.

The condo is 15 minutes from the aspen airport and 45 minutes from Glenwood Springs. There are shuttle services between the condo, Aspen and the Snowmass Mall so a car is not necessary - but rental does include one parking space.

Don't miss the world famous skiing, hiking, Fall colors, film festival, Theatre Aspen and Aspen Music Festival.

Our family has been enjoying ski vacations and summers in Snowmass, Colo. for over 30 years. With three generations of skiers and hikers, we are certain you will enjoy our comfy condo.

Wonderful Place!

I strongly encourage travelers to stay here in Snowmass. Location is great, the hot tub out the front door is amazing, and the accommodations are really nice.

Very good Snowmass rental

This is a great option if you’re looking for a no-frills ski trip to Aspen/Snowmass. We loved the condo location - made it easy to get to the lifts, come in for lunch/break, get groceries, etc. The jacuzzi right outside the front door was a favorite of our group. Beds/bedding could use an update but a comfortable place to stay all in all.

This was a clean condo with easy access to the ski hill. Nice hot tub. Comfortable bed. Could use a liytleupgrade on pots and pans out the condo had everything we needed. The owner was easy to get in touch with and very helpful. Thank you, we would definitely sray here again.

Michael is the best VRBO person to deal with. The nicest owner by far. His place is great. The unit is just a few steps from the hot tub. It is also less then 100 yards to slopes. By far the best deal in Snowmass😎🏂⛷️

Great Location

Great location! Skied to/from Village Express lift from condo. Nice, comfortable hot tub right outside the front door of condo which my friends and I used every day after skiing at Snowmass. Very responsive owner when I contacted him with questions about parking. Although there are 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, the bathrooms are not en suite.

Short walk to ski run, 10 steps to hot tub! Our second year here, enjoyed it once again. A few problems with furnace and humidifiers, but Michael has acted quickly on issues mentioned both last year and this year so have no doubt these will be fixed shortly.

Great location and Amazing Host!

We had a wonderful trip to Snowmass! This property was warm and inviting, and oh so cozy. This truly is ski-in, ski-out. Thanks to Michael for being so accommodating! We had a flight change that was out of our control and he allowed us to check out late. He saved the day! The bedrooms were comfortable and having two bathrooms was a plus. The kitchen had every amenity. Although we didn't cook much, there was everything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend this location and will book it again!

Great location 50-60yards to the lift! Easy to get to the Snowmass mall and village by walking. Great location for buses. Very great hot tub! Easy parking. Very responsive owner. Only issues or quirks that were not in comments/amenities: You must bring your own shampoo /conditioner and body wash. Limited number of pillows for each person ie 1. One room is very hot compared to the other rooms. Hot water was limited for 5 people taking showers within an hour.

Wonderful family ski trip

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay! The communications from the owner prompt and helpful and the check-in process was super easy thanks to the detailed and clear information. The location of this condo is fantastic for enjoying all that Snowmass ski resort has to offer. It took my 9 year old just 5 minutes to walk to his ski lessons every morning! Of course there are condos that are closer and better furnished but this condo is, imho, the best place to stay with family for location and value. We had plenty of space to enjoy each other's company and as well as some alone time. We also loved the gas fireplace (we didn't use the hot tub but it seemed lovely) and the nicely equipped kitchen (where we cooked most evenings). And we appreciated that there were plenty of towels, TPs, paper towels, tissues unlike many other rental owners who seems to overlook that. We would love to come back to this condo in the future!

Perfect location.

Michael was the perfect host, communication was great and we had all the information we needed. We didn’t realise how close it was to the lift, it was literally 2 minutes easy walk with skis and boards. Perfect. Or you could scoot down on your skis or board, pretty much ski in and out. It has everything you need to make it a great stay. Parking for your car, comfortable and central to everywhere in Snowmass. If you want to be able to make breakfast and hit the slopes first thing, then this is the place for you. We were able to wash clothes, this cuts down on your luggage too. After a cold day skiing, return to the unit with gas fire, central heating and plenty of room to kick back, The hot tub is right out your door. The unit is private with plenty of room. Thanks for the great stay Michael.

Great location and spacious

We enjoyed our recent visit to this Snowmass condo. The owner was easy to communicate with and there were no issues to resolve during our stay. The pictures were fairly accurate though the kitchen lighting and wiring did seem sketchy. The hot tub being so close was a huge plus and the 4 of us had plenty of space in this condo. The bedding and pillows were comfortable but we would recommend an update to the queen size bed in the larger bedroom. It was not great that we could feel every move and rotation from the other person beside you. Of minor note, the fan in the smaller bathroom is extremely noisy and needs some attention. I did not mention this to the Owen because it was minor but maybe I should have. The location was perfect for our stay and we also liked being on the ground floor for easy access to the ski locker, hot tub, and slopes! I would consider staying here again. Everything in Aspen is expensive so we can’t really complain about that but a few updates would make this a 5 star stay.

Easy Walk to Village Lift

You can walk to the Village Lift in under 5 minutes from this 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. It is on the ground floor and has a nice 'deck' that runs the full length of the building. You can enjoy your morning coffe at the bistro table on the front porch which faces a picturesque footbridge and an aspen grove. At night, you can sit there and enjoy a apres beverage in the glow of beautiful fairy lights on the snow covered trees. The kitchen is so well equipped that you will have everything you need for cooking and dining in. The space heaters in the bathrooms are espcially nice in the winter. All of the windows are fairly large and let in so much natural light. In the mud-room and entry way there are plenty of hooks for jackets and gloves and shelves for shoes. There is a handy storage closet right outside the front door that also has racks for securely storing your skis. I hope to be able to come back to stay again.

Great Location & Value

Aspen/Snowmass is an expensive ski town and resort. Alas, it was so nice to find reasonably priced ski-in/out condo near the Snowmass Village. Boom up in the morning to ski massive Snowmass with endless long and wide runs. Of need some variety. Hop on the RFTA free bus and head over to Aspen or Highlands for the day. Same for dinner in the town of Aspen. This is not a big condo but more than sufficient with 3 beds and a large sofa bed that my friend says was reasonably comfortable. Some road noise behind the condo at night because it's on an uphill (bring earplugs if that bothers you). The new 4 person (could squeeze 6) hot tub is right next to the condo. Since it's a small complex we only had one time in 5 days when someone was using it and only waited 30 minutes to jump in and soak away those tired ski legs. Michael the owner was very helpful with our questions. grab your groceries at Clark's and beverages at Sundance liquor in Snowmass strip mall walking distance (15 minutes) they also deliver.

Nice inside, NOT Ski in/ski out

The property itself was good inside the condo. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Check in/out process was great. Ski storage and boot warmer helped a lot. Hot water was a struggle as only 2.5 showers was possible after a day of skiing despite conservation efforts. The spa is shared among the condos and too small for more than one family so you don't really get to use it unless you get lucky. Overall, inside was okay.Property fell apart outside as this property is NOT ski in/ski out as advertised. I picked Aspen and this specific place because having a ski in/out capability was a strong requirement by my wife. The mountain lived up to the advertising but the place did not. Despite a video showing how to get to the slopes and clear advertising saying it ski in/out, it is NOT. The stairs shown in the video were completely iced over and dangerous so my kids ended up army crawling up them. There was a cleared vertical walkway halfway to the base that you couldn't ski over and you could not ski to the lift because it was roped off with equipment in the way. The only way to get to the slopes was a miserable and treacherous 250 yards walk in ski boots or taking a shuttle. Had I known this, I would've stayed elsewhere. I had a great time skiing but this condo was basically false advertising and not worth staying at.

I manage the condo on behalf of my family - my parents and two sisters and our spouses. We have been skiing in Aspen for about 50 years! We purchased the condo together so we could continue to have a ski vacation home - but also so that we could rent it out to people like you!

Why they chose this property

This is a very, recently updated (new floors and appliances), comfy condo - and it is SKI ACCESSIBLE during high season. (This does not mean it is ski in/ski out, however - it requires some traversing). Early and late in the season, however, depending on snowfall, of course, the shuttle, which is right outside the condo, may be a better option. Most of the ski season, there is plenty of snow - and you can ski from just across the walkway from the front door to the stairs leading to the lift. I have a video that literally shows me leaving the front door, traversing to the mountain, and back. And it's in Snowmass - some of the finest ski terrain in the world. And the Aspen area is about as beautiful a place as you can be.

What makes this property unique

All four seasons are amazing in the Aspen area. And there is NEVER a loss for things to do. You can also just stare out the window at the stunning mountains. There's no place like Aspen... there's no place like Aspen... there's no place like Aspen!
