About this property

Cornet Bay Sanctuary: A Waterfront Retreat for Rest and Renewal

A place to slow down, exhale, and return to yourself. Tucked within the old growth forests and tidal waters of Washington's Deception Pass State Park, Cornet Bay Sanctuary is a rare retreat where beauty, stillness, and deep rest shape the experience. Set between Anacortes and Oak Harbor, this waterfront property offers private access to four thoughtfully designed buildings, sweeping views, and the quiet magic of the Pacific Northwest. Whether you are seeking a restorative solo escape, a gathering place for friends or family, or a creative retreat held by nature, Cornet Bay Sanctuary invites you to shift into a slower rhythm of life.

Spread along the shoreline and forest edge, the property includes two private studio cabins with kitchenettes, gas fireplaces, and warm, natural textures, as well as a main cabin with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a light filled record room and library upstairs, and an art studio for painting and pottery on the lower level. At the waters edge sits the centerpiece of the Sanctuary: a restored Netshed perched above the tides, offering panoramic views, soft light, and a peaceful place to read, stretch, create, or simply rest with the rhythm of the bay.
