The house is really great, with a fantastic layout and modern design and is in an excellent location on the lake. However, there are a few things to be aware of regarding the outdoor situation. The dock is in poor condition and lacks bumpers or pads, which made us feel uneasy about the safety of our boat. Additionally, there’s construction happening to the southwest of the property that’s encroaching on the fire pit area. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was still very enjoyable.

This home was absolutely stunning! A very clean and quiet space. There were some small things that added up. The ramp to walk out onto the dock was under water. So we had to walk a good 10ft out, with our 3 kids on the submerged ramp to get to the dock and onto our boat. The internal slip of the dock was broken and had pieces in the way so the boat had to be parked on the outside of the dock. Both coffee pots were broken, the Keurig did work (had to go get pods for that). The ice machine did not work and the air hockey table was also broken (missing a prong to plug in). The fire pit area appears to be under construction and was sightly covered in weeds with part of what should have been a closed off area, not closed off appropriately. Overall, this was a perfect place for us to stay! Beautiful property. Host was great! Just can’t give it a full 5 starts due to some of the smaller inconveniences.

This house has many modern updates. It was clean and had a gorgeous view of the lake. We loved all the windows in the living room looking over the lake. One bedroom was on the main floor and the 3 additional bedrooms were in the basement. We liked that there was a fridge in the basement as well. The fire pit area was nice as well. The only downfall for us was that ladder on the dock was broken. We checked in on a Friday and noticed it was broken and unusable that afternoon. We notified the host and they requested pictures of the broken ladder. We checked out on Monday and still didn’t have a ladder to get in and out of the lake.Not having a ladder was really frustrating. We had to climb from a float onto the dock. It was very difficult climbing from a moving float onto the concrete dock. The concrete dock is chipping up, so crawling onto that was rough. Hopefully the host has installed a new ladder by now. It was a great house besides that.
