About this property
South of the Highway Sagaponack Secret
This Bridgehampton south of the highway secret is in a perfect location sitting on Bridge Lane for which Bridgehampton was named. Our family built this house - our favorite spot on earth - in 1950 and it is now surrounded by some of the largest vacation homes in the country, less than a mile from Sagg Main beach. It is perfect for a beach getaway with a brand new kitchen, central AC and a beautiful screen porch that you will never want to leave. Wifi, air conditioning and new appliances await. Parking for 4 cars.
The house is within reach to everything the Hamptons has to offer. Just a short drive or a bike ride to stunning ocean and bay beaches, wineries, boutique shopping, golf, fishing, museums and historic sites, farm stands, and unique dining experience.
Single story floor plan with breezes open front to back.
The rental experience includes everything you need: Cable, RokuTV, Wi-Fi, SONOS sound system, central A/C, washer and dryer, linens and towels, fully equipped kitchen, and a barbecue grill.
Plenty of outdoor space and outdoor shower.
Hop on a bicycle in the morning for a quick ride to the corner store to grab the paper and a cup of coffee and then head right down to the beach to greet the ocean. Ride back for breakfast and then head over to Sag Harbor to wander the shops and inner harbor. Lunch at the beach. BBQ at the house. Wake up the next morning and do it all over again!
A perfect vacation south of the highway.

About the host
Hosted by Christian Meyer

My family has been building the most magical memories in this house for over 50 years. I am a father of four sons who love this house with all of their heart. We love practical comfort. Our day is almost always - go grab some coffee and donuts, go down to the beach with our Golden Retriever, take an early morning swim, come home and make breakfast, go play golf or go explore, back to the beach for lunch, back home to relax, back to the beach for cocktails, home for dinner, back to the beach for star gazing and say goodnight to the ocean.
Why they chose this property
There used to just be potato fields all around us. And now the house is surrounded by some of the most extraordinary mansions in the country. The combination of location/price/amenities is hard to beat. There just aren't that many houses in this price range in this location. The house is surrounded by properties that are 10x as much because the location is so fantastic.
What makes this property unique
Sagaponack - the most expensive zip code in the country - begins 500 yards down the road. The beach is an easy jog or bike ride. You will have an amazing vacation.
