The house was perfect for our group with everything we needed and you can’t beat the location. Super convenient and very close to everything. Christian was very helpful and quick with communication. We had a great stay – thank you!
We atsyed in the house from Wednesday, September 25 through Sunday September 29. We had three couples, one with a small child and one single. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked just fine. Master bedroom has a beautiful bay window overlooking the large back yard plus a full bath. Other three bedrroms share 2 full baths. There is a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven and full refrig. Also has a living room, tv room and very nice, large sun room where we ate breakfast each morning. House was very close to all the activities we were doing for our daughter's wedding so it was very convenient. Owner of the house gave very clear instructions and corresponded by text as well to make sure everything was going well and understood. Doubt we will ever need a place in Bridgehampton again but if we did, wouldn't hesitate renting this house again.
Suggestions to improve the quality for the next visitor.
The house was charming and comfortable. the layout was great.
My fed back is meant to be constructive:
There were a number of things that were off putting that should have been on a check list prior to new guests that were overlooked.
The cleaning service was not thorough.
The windows were filthy and have not been clean in a long while. Thick covering obstructing seeing out and many dead insects. The indoor patio was in need of a good sweep / vacuuming.
The refrigerator had previous guests' food, this should have been cleared out after every guest. The refrigerator's water filter indicated it needed to be replaced- water tasted funky. The grill ran out of propane during grilling. There were dirty towels in a basket in one of the bathrooms. When using the kitchen dishes etc, a lot of the serving dishes did not appear clean and need to be cleaned before using.
Overall for the charge for cleaning that we paid and presumibly the prior visitors, you may reevaluate the cleaning service used.
Lastly the bunk beds are in need of updated mattress or toppers...very uncomfortable.

Diane thank you so much for the feedback. We are addressing it all. Greatly appreciate it!
We had a wonderful stay at this home! There were plenty of beds, giving everyone space to spread out, while still enjoying cozy common areas like the TV room and screened porch. The location is fantastic—close to the beach and just minutes from Bridgehampton town—making it a perfect home base for our weekend getaway. While the home could benefit from a few small updates, it’s overall charming, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for.
Christian’s house is in the perfect location —less than a mile to the beach on a beautiful street in Bridgehampton. His place offers an old school, classic Hampton beach experience. The kitchen, living room, screened porch area is cozy and comfortable. We spent all our time there. Highly recommend for those looking for a relaxed, laid back beach rental.
All of the modern conveniences in a wonderful layout: bedrooms along one wing and living/entertainment spaces in another. More of a family, country cabin feel (than a formal mansion). Entry into Kitchen/Living-Room with an adjoining (and very large) Sun-Porch and TV/Entertainment nook -- with sitting for about 40. Great space for entertaining! And with a spacious yard (front & back). 5-Stars!

Wonderful home- perfect place for family vacation!
We loved your home...it felt like ours and that made for one of the best times we've had with our family on a vacation over the years. Close to the beach and town, it was the perfect place to stay so that we could experience all the things the Hamptons have to offer in the summer. Hard to say what we loved the best, was it the location... the kitchen / living space or the amazing private (quiet) yard? We've decided to go back again to figure that out!

Cozy, Social, and Delightful
We rented this house for a dads-getaway weekend and it was superb. Brand new kitchen full of everything we needed, plus great social spaces, with plenty of beds for our group. The location is delightful -- on a beautiful quiet road a short distance away from two excellent beaches, near enough to town as well.

We love this cottage and location!
This is a charming cottage with tons of room for gathering together. It is a beautiful walk to the beach and convenient to Sagaponack and main street Bridgehampton. We loved walking down to the bridge to see the sun set over the pond. The kitchen is new and well equipped. We stayed in the master bedroom with its private entrance and view of the garden and back yard. This is a real gem!

Awesome Dad's Weekend
Came down to Bridgehampton with 8 other Dad's for a golf weekend and had an amazing time. Had a great lobster bake sitting around the big dining table in the screen porch which could easily fit more. The beach was beautiful and just jogging down the street you see some of the most amazing homes in the country. Very enjoyable stay.

Perfect location and great for families
We have stayed several years here. There simply isn't a better location for the price and number of beds and the Meyers have been warm hosts. The house is surprisingly spacious inside and the new kitchen is the perfect gravitational center of the house although you will likely spend all of your time on the screen porch. It is not "Hamptons fancy" but rather down to earth and well loved. We had another family join us for the weekend and for two couples with three kids each, it was perfect. An easy bike ride down to the beach and back made the magic of the Hamptons really come alive for us. We didn't have to worry about beach parking and could go back and forth with ease. The outside shower makes it easy to clean off after a sandy day by the ocean. The pictures are all accurate!

About the host
Hosted by Christian Meyer
My family has been building the most magical memories in this house for over 50 years. I am a father of four sons who love this house with all of their heart. We love practical comfort. Our day is almost always - go grab some coffee and donuts, go down to the beach with our Golden Retriever, take an early morning swim, come home and make breakfast, go play golf or go explore, back to the beach for lunch, back home to relax, back to the beach for cocktails, home for dinner, back to the beach for star gazing and say goodnight to the ocean.
Why they chose this property
There used to just be potato fields all around us. And now the house is surrounded by some of the most extraordinary mansions in the country. The combination of location/price/amenities is hard to beat. There just aren't that many houses in this price range in this location. The house is surrounded by properties that are 10x as much because the location is so fantastic.
What makes this property unique
Sagaponack - the most expensive zip code in the country - begins 500 yards down the road. The beach is an easy jog or bike ride. You will have an amazing vacation.
