Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
When you leave, we'd greatly appreciate if you could please: Strip the beds that were slept in and leave the bedsheets, quilts and blankets at the foot of the bed.
Do not remove the waterproof mattress pads. Please put all used towels in the bathtub or shower stalls.
Please place all trash and recyclables in the bins provided.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Parties allowed. Pets are allowed but must stay off the furniture and beds. No smoking allowed in the house.

This was perfect for our whole family to stay together. The whole basement is pretty much set up for entertaining the teenagers and kids which was perfect for us. In the basement they have a whole wall projector for watching movies and gaming (the kids loved that) as well as a room with an air hockey table, gaming system, foosebal, and darts. The main floor has 2 living room areas for congregating. The upstairs has all 4 bedrooms including the master suite. This house is in the middle of it all. Literally minutes from the lake and any shopping you may need to do. If we are ever in the area again, we WILL stay here!!I didnt read my check-in email thoroughly so messaged the owner and he was very quick to respond. It was icy when we arrived so we called. He answered the phone immediately and was able to direct us to what we needed.Honesty, the only thing i couldn't find was a cookie sheet but we made it work.

Diane and I have lived in Detroit Lakes for the past 33 years. I was a high school teacher and coach for 32 years and operate a lawn care business. I recently retired from teaching to take on some new challenges. Diane spent 25 years teaching preschoolers and now works at a local chiropractors office as a front desk person.

Why they chose this property

The location of the Willow house is central to Detroit Lakes. We are only a few blocks away from most needs and attractions. 5 blocks from the closest grocery store, 4 blocks from the pharmacy, 3 blocks from a convenience store, many restaurant and fast food options are also close. Better yet, the city beach and park is only 4-5 blocks away!
