About this property
Dog-Friendly Oceanfront A-Frame with Coastal Views
Summary:
Pirate's Paradise
The Space:
Set your compass for the Oregon Coast and make Pirate’s Paradise your home base for a memorable Lincoln City getaway. This oceanfront A-frame cottage pairs beautiful Pacific views with a location just two blocks from the beach, making it easy to spend your days outside and your evenings relaxing by the coast.
Inside, the classic A-frame design creates a warm, inviting retreat, with a wall of windows bringing the ocean and natural light into the living space. Gather over coffee while watching the waves, return from a day of exploring to unwind together, or settle in for a quiet evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the coast.
Adventure is always close by. Walk the beach in search of shells, agates, and Lincoln City's famous handblown glass floats, hike nearby coastal trails, explore Siletz Bay and Devils Lake, or head out for crabbing, kayaking, fishing, and seasonal whale watching. Families will love the beach, while outdoor enthusiasts can easily fill their days exploring the surrounding coastline.
Lincoln City is also a year-round destination, with returning favorites like the Spring and Fall Kite Festivals, Finders Keepers glass-float tradition, seasonal celebrations, and events that bring visitors back to the coast year after year. When you're ready to explore farther, scenic Highway 101 puts the Central Oregon Coast's beaches, viewpoints, parks, shops, galleries, and restaurants within easy reach.
There’s plenty to explore beyond the beach, too. Golfers can tee off at Salishan or Chinook Winds, both just minutes from Lincoln City, while Chinook Winds also offers gaming and live entertainment. Cast a line at Devils Lake, known for its variety of freshwater fish, or try something new with a cooking class or a hands-on glassblowing experience. From outdoor adventures to creative experiences, Lincoln City makes it easy to build each day around something a little different.
Whether you're planning a family beach vacation, an outdoor adventure, a festival weekend, or a relaxing coastal escape with your pup, Pirate's Paradise puts you close to the experiences that make Lincoln City special.

The place was clean and very comfortable. The view of the beach is amazing. I enjoyed that they had puzzles and games to play, al thou some of the puzzles had several pieces missing. Overall it is a great place at an affordable price.

Gary, we’re glad Pirate's Paradise gave you a comfortable, beachside escape. It means a lot that you took advantage of the games and relaxed with that amazing view. We’ll inventory the puzzles and replace any with missing pieces so future guests can fully enjoy them. It’s wonderful the home provided an affordable, laid-back getaway — we’d love to welcome you back for more sunsets and shoreline strolls.
Just a really nice place for my family and dog. Great experience the view is amazing. Would definitely rent this place again and the overall experience was great.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience at Pirate's Paradise. We’re so happy your family — and dog — enjoyed the amazing view and had a great stay. Knowing you’d rent with us again truly brightens our day. We look forward to welcoming you back.
Don't stay here it was a pile of crap. Beds were uncomfortable broken furniture and no Internet. No resolution from anyone. No concern for guest and the top step is a danger to all people. If you have back issues or children avoid at all cost. Please don't stay here learn from my misery

Some aspects were great, others were not. The ocean view from the deck and inside were awesome! Loved hearing the ocean the whole time! Big issue was entering and exiting. We were provided an 8-digit lockbox code but it kept flashing red light (error/wrong code) before all 8 digits could be entered. After contacting host (property management or VRBO--unsure who I was talking to, but they were helpful), they provided the combination code for the lockbox that had keys. The locks kept spinning and sometimes would work, sometimes wouldn't. After another call to the host, we were informed the keys were different (one for each lock-garage entry and main door). Major frustration could have been avoided if I would have realized that the keys were different and the keys were labeled. I suggested that and they said they would pass the suggestion along to the team. Most furniture (futons, beds, fridge) were quite dated, but they served the purpose. Other places I've stayed had stretchy removable covers over couches so they could be washed. These didn't so it seemed and looked less clean. Carpet had some stains but probably no more than camouflaged hotel carpet if the truth were known. It had an odor upon entering but it could have been from just being closed up, maybe pet but unsure. We opened the windows, circulated some air & it was fine. Creeky upstairs may wake others. Downstairs bedroom door slides closed but not fully because of the A-frame design, so there isn't total privacy.

I would probably not stay here again. After checking in we noticed the TV wasn’t working it took a day and half before they had someone come fix it. Furniture is all very uncomfortable. Dishes were dirty, hair in the sink, spider webs and spiders. Outside off the deck the weeds were so overgrown the blocked for view.

So much potential, so sad and rundown. Furniture is old, dirty, and uncomfortable. Shower stall is tiny (water was hot and water pressure was great). Gorgeous views but floors were filthy (don’t go barefoot!) Internet was down for 2/3 of our stay. Management was responsive to that issue.

Lynne, thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we’re glad you enjoyed the gorgeous views and found the water temperature and pressure comfortable. We’re sorry that the condition of the home and the internet service took away from what should have been a relaxing stay. We appreciate you bringing the flooring, outlets, internet, and TV to our attention during your visit and providing photos so our team could better understand what you encountered. We’re also glad our team was responsive when you reached out about the connectivity, and we appreciate your patience while we reviewed your request. Thank you again for sharing your feedback, as it helps us identify where the guest experience can be improved.
