This quaint cottage was perfect for our family! It was located close to the beach and to downtown. The rooms were perfect especially the upper room with the queen and 2 twin beds. Great for my son and his children. The fenced yard was great for the dog. The house and hot tub were clean and the beds were comfy.

Thanks for staying at Ocean Shells Cottage. We’re glad the layout and fenced yard supported a relaxed family stay. That easy, comfortable feeling is exactly what we aim to provide at the coast, and it means a lot to hear it resonated. We’d be happy to welcome you back when you return to the nearby beaches and downtown.

It is an older cottage but with a very nice beach theme. Kitchen is well-equipped. While there are two bathrooms, know there is only one shower (a bath tub is inside a bedroom). The backyard is open with little to no privacy for our preference. (When we stayed, there was smoke and haze from the wildfires to enjoy the backyard anyway). The host is very accomodating and responsive. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We’re glad the cottage’s seaside personality and well-stocked kitchen helped make your stay pleasant, and that our team was responsive. We appreciate the note about the bathroom layout and the backyard’s openness; we’ll clarify the shower configuration and outdoor privacy in the listing so future guests know what to expect. We’d love to welcome you back for another Coast visit.

The bathroom situation is unique. The location is what·looks like a shoddy neighborhood. The property itself is nice. FYI only one shower. Loved the kites!
