We are a young, active couple new to the hosting world, but read to jump straight in! We love exploring the area around the cabin, from Burlington and the Northeast Kingdom to Stowe and Montpelier - there is enough to last a lifetime up here!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the view off the back porch and quiet location of the log cabin. We are walking distance to Hyde Park for pastries, bagels, bread, and breakfast/lunch/dinner at Two Sons Bakehouse, a short drive to Morrisville for all the necessities, 20 minutes to Stowe for the most charming town in America filled with good shopping and food, and just 1 hr from Burlington for a quaint city day. Multiple breweries within 10 minutes of the cabin. Central to Stowe Resort, Smuggler's Notch, and Jay Peak for the winter was a huge plus for us.

What makes this property unique

Aside from the log cabin with unique, rough-sawn and irregular walls, the location perched atop a hill is truly magnificient. Its worth the climb from the garage parking area up 16 steps to the cabin. We have worked so hard renovating the space, improving it any way possible, and stocking the home with everything we look for in a rental.
