The dirt and gravel path that leads to the cabin was a little rugged, but was only a minor hiccup. This place has all the necessities and is perfect for 1-2 people. The 2nd floor loft contains the bedroom that can only be accessed through a ladder. The host offers basic amenities (functional bathroom, kitchen supplies, etc.) and can supply more if you reach out. They also give suggested nearby attractions, including some of their own farm animals. We had a great stay at this remote location and wished we could be there longer!

About the host

Hosted by Theresa Hayes

Host profile image

Hi I'm Theresa Jolene Hayes or just Jolene. I grew up here on Mulberry Acres and the cute little town of New Berlin was my hangout place. Every day I would walk to the New Berlin Bridge and play with my friends in the creek. We caught crayfish, snakes and lizards, helgramites, catfish and bass.

Why they chose this property

I like our privacy. Having a small farm and a piece of woods really makes me feel in touch with nature.

What makes this property unique

You have the best of both worlds. There is the quiet cabin in the woods with walking trails, and you can go see the animals at emu overlook and feed them.
