Mini Getaway

I overall enjoyed my stay. I would suggest providing face towels, children swim vest or arm floaters. Also some type of labeling letting swimmers know that the pool does has a drip and goes to 5” feet would have be great. There are also some cosmetic things that need to be addressed like the chipping paint on the kitchen cabinets and replacing all the shower heads to the one that is in the Star Wars bathroom. Other than those things the stay was great.

The area was beautiful, the house was a bit run down, the communication was not fast, the house entrance and living area smelled like cigarette smoke, overall it was okay...just not accurate with pictures vs in person the showers were broken, cabinets had tape, the cookware was ceramic and peeled. It was overall pretty run down. It was a nice neighborhood though.

Sad stuff

The floors were filthy! The entire home, which could be so beautiful, was dirty. There were no washcloths in the bathrooms. There were no kitchen towels or washcloths. It was the oddest thing. I paid for heat in the pool and hot tub, but the pool was pretty cool and the hot tub was not hot. We had a good time as a family, but I was disappointed with the house.

Would stay again -- but the property needs some minor upkeep

The property was clean, comfortable, and a great layout for our 9 guests. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. 5-star rating because I would come back. However, I urge the property owner to invest in some small upkeep items to make this an even better stay. e.g., label the fan remotes. lol. That was a fun 3 minutes. 1. The game room was more for holding clean laundry than playing games. The air hockey table didn't work right (pucks were too small and score keeper dead), the pool table was missing tips on the almost all of the cues, the foosball table had soda spills on it and was no where near level. Even the pool cue rack on the wall was broken so the cues were just strewn about. Major deal? No, not for us. It just meant our kids had one less form of entertainment available. 2. The kitchen had a few issues. The cabinets have white tape on them because they're in bad shape. Come on owner, invest a bit and replace doors or repaint them. The 12-cup coffee maker was missing the filter basket so it wasn't usable. We had to buy our own coffee maker and lug it back home in the car with us when the trip was over. PLEASE message me if you're interested in reimbursing me for this. I messaged you about it, but you didn't respond. $90 + tax. Again, not worth removing a star but it's annoying. The dishwasher was also clogged when we arrived and unusable until maintenance came out. 3. Floors get wet. Buy some bathroom mats or rugs. I'd rather you replace those every couple years than track wet feet around coming out of the showers. It was a slip and fall risk the first day after the cleaning crews had just used their floor sanitizer to clean. :) 4. Pool heat -- confusing! ONLY works 9 AM to 9 PM and when the hot tub timer is off. I specifically told the property manager we intended to use the pool beginning the day we arrived... but the heat didn't get turned on until the next morning and it stayed on the morning we left... so we ended up paying for 9 nights ($300+ dollars!! My pool at home in 50 degree temps only costs $40 to heat... uhhh....) and were only able to use it for 8 days due to check out being at 10 AM. We were really looking forward to swimming the day we arrived but couldn't. If you rent this place, be very specific ahead of time to get that heat turned on the day you arrive. I feel taken advantage of for the pool heat situation since I'd specifically messaged ahead of time.
