What a beautiful home! It’s situated right between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale which was very convenient for our group! Very clean and with plenty of space. The property group was very responsive when we had some issues with wasps.

Our group had a fantastic stay in this property! Plenty of space to spread out, beautiful views and amenities, and great location outside of town but close enough to venture in for any needs.

We certainly enjoyed the views and the occasional visits in the early mornings by elk and mule deer in the surrounding grounds. There were plenty of gathering rooms and we liked the space in the kitchen for several people to work at once. The outside grill was used 3 or 4 times in spite of the rain.After a bear was encountered on the way to the outdoor trash bin, we all were much more careful about being outside at night.The biggest issue was the description of the bedrooms and bathrooms and what we found. Do you really consider a bathroom between two queen bedrooms 2 insuites when you ask 4 adults to share one bath? And to find 2 full baths on the main floor with one bedroom with twin beds and 1 bathroom in the basement with three bedroom which could sleep 8 people was a suprise after what was described. Plus the basement bathroom is in bad shape and at least needs a new floor.

Our extended family celebrated our parents' 50th anniversary at this location. We had 19 people staying and didn't feel crowded. The kitchen was well-stocked and functional. The only downside was that there is no AC, however this would only be uncomfortable in extreme heat. It was 100 degrees during our stay and we purchased a couple of small stand alone AC units. The log cabin walls provided excellent insulation and we were comfortable nearly the entire time. The sitting rooms were cozy and bookshelves full of good books. The host quickly responded to emails and was easy to work with. We highly recommend this location.
