You will feel on top of the world in this spacious, top floor corner condo in the Windswept Ridge Condos at The Currituck Club! Enjoy the ocean breezes as you relax on the expansive decks with views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, south and west to the Currituck Sound. The building elevator is located nearby to provide easy accessibility for guests while the limited number of units in these villas maintains a quiet sense of privacy. [Note: No dogs or other animals are allowed in this condo.]

ONE LEVEL:
This four-bedroom unit has a comfortable living room with streaming TV and a fully-equipped open kitchen with a kitchen bar counter (seats 4). A breakfast table in a sunny nook will seat 4 and the dining table that will seat 6. There are 2 Kings Master Suites; one master bath has a shower and separate soaking tub and the other master bath has a shower. The other bedrooms include a King bedroom and a bedroom with 2 Twin beds; these bedrooms share a hall bath with shower/tub combo. The bedrooms all have TVs with ROKU devices. There is parking for 2 vehicles allowed in the condo parking lot.

EXTRAS:
Adjacent to this building are tennis courts, park-style grills and the Windswept Ridge pool. As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. This condo has a golf membership so golfers in the family will enjoy special privileges, including advance tee times and reduced green fees, at The Currituck Club championship 18-hole golf course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

Perfect family stay

Very clean, great layout of rooms with two masters. Functional kitchen with cooking utensils. Other included amenities like club house, swimming and grocery store very close.

First time to OBX. Family wedding extended to a family vacation. Loved the layout, size, view, outside seating and ease of access to the pool, beach and tennis courts. Will definitely be back.

Where Am I?

Address in ad doesn’t match location. Only knew I was at the right place when I peaked in and recognized the furniture. Once settled in, we found it to be comfortable with most everything we needed. Nice layout affording a family of 8 plenty of room.

1st stay in OBX

This property was spacious, tidy and comfortable. Several of the furniture (tv cabinet in two rooms), fixtures (window shutters) and doors (laundry closet) were barely hanging on. Wonderful balcony with great views & breezes...sliding doors were very loud & seemed rusty...needs track cleaning & WD50. The community felt very safe & everyone was friendly, shuttle drivers were great too. We especially enjoyed walking, riding bikes and swimming in the community. Everyone had a good time. Thank you for helping us have a good vacation.😊

Perfect Vaction

My family had a wonderful week at Beach Boddie. The house was perfect for our babies! It was very childproof, which we appreciated. The elevator was close by and made it easy to load up for the beach or pool. You do have to drive a few minutes down the road for beach access, but it was easy and there is a snack bar as well as courtesy carts to wheel your stuff down to the beach. We had a wonderful trip and I'm already wanting to return!

Master needs new mattress!

Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The condo was very clean but the master bedroom’s bed/mattress was very uncomfortable! It felt more life a full size bed than listed queen. Some of the furnishings could use some updating. Higher chairs on the deck would allow one to see the view—otherwise you’re needing to duck or get up to get a view of the golf course.. Also, a Keurig would be a nice addition to this unit vs the small coffee pot. Location was good.

Situated in a great area. The Currituck Club has events everyday including things for the littles. The condo is spacious and furnished appropriately. It was clean on arrival with fresh towels etc per bed. Our only complaint is it needs some tlc and a little updating. Other than that it was a great stay.

Very nice condo!

The Currituck Club offers many amenities. Having a trolley to take us to the beach was very nice. The kids loved the pools (all four of them!). The condo itself has great views and the pictures really don't do it justice. It's much larger than it appears online. Our only complaint was the cleanliness upon arrival. Instead of enjoying the beach, we spent our first evening cleaning. The floors were extremely dirty (3 mop buckets full of dirty water) and the carpets really need to be shampooed. Otherwise, kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable and the huge balcony is great!

Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The thermostat is located next to the dryer which elevates the temp which influences how hard the AC works which freezes you. The shower curtain is hanging by a thread, there was food debris under the counter, and we were locked out when the keybox became stuck.

It was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. However the one telephone was not working, which could be a major issue if you had an emergency and no cell phone along;the hall bathroom sink leaked even after we called for maintenance. It would be a super great home if it included more than basic cable as it rained half our stay and the children were restless and internet service is a must. The dining room chairs need work as half of them are very loose. But it is still a lovely home and a great place to stay in the Villas. One of my favorites!

Reviewer Comments: The week was not perfect due to Irene, but the location is great, the Currituck Club is a fantastic community that we enjoy more than the individual homes on the beach side. The unit could use a few updates and repairs (kitchen sink begining to rust out, wall paper in master bath is peeling, coffee pot not working properly), but not bad over-all for a beach rental property. The view is wonderful from the 3rd floor and we wish we could have stayed for the rest of the week. Maybe next year.

The Windswept Villas are also in a great location, close to the trolley stop and an easy walk to the clubhouse. The villa felt very roomy and it was nice to have everything on one floor. We would definitely choose this property again.
