The host was great! Very responsive to our needs. We were happy there wads food in the fridge as we hadn't't eaten all day. The apartment wad very well stocked.. And the gas fire kept us warm and comfy. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come out to see our family.

Several things: this is actually a small 2 bedroom apartment with one bath. The shared piece comes in when you arrive and discover the owner has rented the other bedroom to a total stranger and you will be not sharing space with the owner or plural others but with one other person. I am a 75 year old female: it was jarring to discover that my “roommate” would be a male person unknown to me in this small space. He vaped marijuana (I do not) inside which made the living space smelly. He was very nice and polite but it was so awkward and could have gone in another direction. There was no top sheet on the beds (I borrowed from family) and while there were towels in the roommate’s room, he used my one bath towel and I took 1 shower all week. Plus borrowed wash cloths from family before finding 6 in a drawer in roommate’s dresser on the last day. It was clean, quiet - no off street parking (advertised as having some). In my opinion, this spot is perfect for a small family or close friends. It made an awkward week. The property physically is lovely.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your kind words regarding the cleanliness and physical beauty of the property. I am glad you found it peaceful, but I am incredibly sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay were uncomfortable and jarring. As I am new to this business and constantly learning, your feedback is extremely valuable to me.

Comfortable though older and somewhat worn. I neglected to clarify the entry down to the unit (21 steep steps). The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. The host was very considerate and pleasant to communicate with. Parking was very easy on street. The best aspect was a shaded basement unit that stayed cool during a heat wave.

Hi Timothy, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind words! I'm glad you found the kitchen well-stocked, the bed comfortable, and the street parking easy. It was certainly a huge plus that the unit stayed so nice and cool during the heat wave! I also really appreciate your note about the 21 steep steps to the entry, that is excellent feedback and very helpful for future guests to know what to expect. You are more than welcome to back anytime, and thank you again for choosing to stay with us!"
