Overall everything was as pictured and stated it would be, the host gave very detailed and clear instructions and the location was very convenient / walkable. The only downsides was that some of the silverware / dishes had food residue left on them and the shower curtain fell twice during our stay, but they were easy enough fixes that it didn’t really affect our stay. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again! :)
Problem with getting into the garage because the card didn’t work. The apartment was ok. The ac unit was not secured to the stop door. Hot water in the shower was just warm. Sinks both ran hot so I can’t figure out why the shower was not warm enough.

Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance between peace and proximity. It’s located along the Central Canal on the north side of downtown, which means you get a quieter, more relaxed setting away from heavy traffic and crowds—yet you’re still within walking distance or a short car or scooter ride to all of downtown Indianapolis’s main attractions.
What I enjoy most is the scenic Canal Walk, which is great for morning walks, runs, or just unwinding after a long day. While the area has an industrial feel and may seem low-key at first, there are several hidden gems nearby—local restaurants, unique buildings like the Stutz, and easy access to Mass Ave, sports venues, museums, and event spaces.
It’s ideal for guests who want a calm place to come home to while still being close to the energy of downtown when they want it.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property unique is its canal-side location paired with a quiet, tucked-away setting just outside the busy core of downtown. Guests get the best of both worlds—peaceful surroundings with easy access to Indianapolis’s top attractions by foot, scooter, or a short drive.
Unlike many downtown listings, this apartment offers a more relaxed, private feel while still being close to Mass Ave, Lucas Oil Stadium, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Convention Center, and cultural spots like the Stutz Building. The scenic Canal Walk right outside is perfect for morning walks or evening unwinding.
Inside, the space is thoughtfully designed for comfort—ideal for both short stays and longer visits—with practical amenities, clear communication, and a host who is local and attentive. It’s a great fit for guests who want convenience without constant noise or congestion.
