About the host

In 2015, we were looking for an alternative to staying with relatives or in hotels when visiting family and friends in Florida. That’s when we discovered short-term rental vacation homes. We bought a condo in Florida to use as a short-term rental, allowing us to share it with others and help cover the costs. It’s been a great success, and we love hearing how much our guests enjoy the property. Our daughter and her husband, who served in the Air Force, were stationed in Dayton, and after retiring, they decided to stay there. We purchased a home Kettering/Dayton area with plans to use it for family visits and to share with others when we’re not there, just like in Florida.

We’ve always loved the Dayton/Kettering area for its rich aviation history, innovation, and beautiful countryside. Known as the Gem City, it offers vibrant arts, outdoor recreation, and cultural festivals.
