Lakefront Cottage: Dock, Firepit, Foosball & Screened Porch

Settle into Sunfish Cove, a one-bedroom lakefront cottage on Mountain Island Lake. Enjoy coffee on the screened porch, time by the dock, outdoor foosball and evenings around the lakeside firepit. Stay a few days and give yourself time to slow down.

The covered hot tub visible in some photos is not available for guest use and is not included with current reservations. No opening date is promised. If it becomes available, the listing will be updated with its availability and any separate fee before it is offered.

THE COTTAGE
The home accommodates up to 3 guests, with a king bedroom, living and dining area, WiFi and a bathroom with shower. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, single burner and countertop toaster oven for simple meals. There is no full-size stove or conventional oven.

BY THE WATER
Enjoy the lakefront yard, dock, screened porch, outdoor seating, foosball and firepit with a cooking grate. On-site trailer parking is available for guests bringing a boat. Lake levels and weather can affect shoreline and water conditions.

The cottage is for your stay, but the owners may occasionally access their boat at the dock. This is a residential cove, not an isolated property. Boats shown in photos are not included with the rental. The houseboat shown in older photos has been removed, and the pontoon's location has changed. The trampoline and old charcoal smoker shown in some older photos have also been removed.

PRACTICAL DETAILS
Two-night minimum; a four-night stay gives you more time to enjoy the lake without rushing. Your dates and any eligible savings are reflected in the booking quote.

Convenient for visits to Huntersville, Mount Holly and Charlotte, with groceries and restaurants within driving distance. Aircraft can be audible over the property; flight activity varies.

Pets are not accepted for new reservations. Previously approved pets on existing reservations will be honored under the agreed pet rules and fees. Service animals are accommodated in accordance with Vrbo's service animal policy and are not charged pet fees.

No smoking inside the home. Please keep outdoor smoking away from open doors and windows.
