Welcome to this delightful cabin in Bayfield. Inside, guests find two cozy bedrooms featuring a king bed up stairs, and a queen bed with an addition blow up mattress down stairs for extra guests— perfect for restful nights. The cabin offers two bathrooms, each equipped with a shower or bathtub, making it easy to refresh after a day of adventure. A new AC mini split was just install for the summer days and wood burning stove heating that keeps the space warm and inviting! Whether relaxing indoors or exploring nearby, guests enjoy a terrific blend of comfort and charm. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.
We are conveniently located, 30 minutes from Durango, 30 minutes from beautiful Vallecito Lake and 1 hour from Pagosa Springs! If you love to ski, we are just 1 hour away from Purgatory Ski Resort and 1 1/2 hours away from Wolf Creek Ski Resort! Perfect for all your outdoor adventures!!

Rules for the mini split AC: **Do NOT run the system while windows are open. When leaving the cabin AC must be put back at 72 during summer season**
Do not light a fire before leaving the cabin during the winter months. NO HOT ASHES IN THE BUCKET.
Trash: if you need to take out trash during your stay, there is a can in between both cabins— write host so trash can be taken out for bear safety. 🙂

Loved this cabin and its location. It's conveniently close to both Durango and Pagosa Springs, but out of the way enough to be very quiet and peacful and to see a lot of wildlife outside. I particularly appreciated the fact that there are miles and miles of hiking trails extending out of the neighborhood. We stayed for five nights, and were feeling pretty settled in by the end. As far as checking in and communication went, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. It did seem like the dishwasher maybe wasn't so great, as a lot of the dishes felt like they could have been cleaner, and we ended up just washing everything by hand to make sure. Other than that, everything else was good and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

If I had known, I would have gladly popped over to take a look or swap things out right away! Loved, loved, loved the A-frame cabin in the woods. The back deck is amazing for star gazing. Big trees. Very quiet. The house had everything we needed. It's close to Pagosa Springs and Durango, but away from the tourist crowds. Two bathrooms made is comfortable for our group. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. We love Colorado
