About the host
Hosted by Lauren Holtvoigt
Originally from the Midwest, I came to Buena Vista in search of adventure five years ago. After many mountains climbed and many trails hiked, I decided to stay here permanently. I love being able to share this beautiful place with others and to make their stays memorable for years to come.
We live on-site in a separate space. You’ll have privacy, but we’re nearby if you need assistance, recommendations, or just a friendly chat.

Why they chose this property
I absolutely love this location because you can walk less than 15 minutes to town, 15 min to the river trail, and still have privacy and space like you’re in the country side.
What makes this property unique
The property is unique because it is so close to town, but quiet and out of the main drag. We get the same families of deer that visit every year and a collection of foxes, raccoons, and even mountain lions that share the space with us. We love when we look out the living room window and see “our” deer staring right back at us. It is the wilderness up close and personal, in a cozy clean space and just a short walk from town and trails. What more could you ask for!
