About this property
Charmed Western Bungalow • Walk to Main • Sleeps 6
Stay in a classic Buena Vista bungalow just two blocks from historic Main Street. Full of Western character, this three-bedroom home offers a comfortable in-town base for families, couples, and small groups, with plenty of room to spread out both inside and out.
The home sleeps up to six guests with two King bedrooms plus a third bedroom with one Full and one Twin bed. The layout is especially well suited for couples traveling together, families, or smaller groups looking for comfortable sleeping arrangements without giving up a central location.
The living spaces retain much of the bungalow’s original charm while providing everything needed for an easy stay. The kitchen is fully stocked for preparing meals, and we provide locally roasted Buena Vista coffee along with tea to make mornings easy. The adjoining dining and living areas offer a relaxed place to gather after a day exploring town, the river, or the surrounding mountains.
Outside, the quarter-acre lot is one of the home’s standout features and a rarity for an in-town property. There is generous parking for multiple vehicles, trucks, trailers, bikes, rafting gear, and other adventure equipment. A propane grill is provided outside for guest use, with propane supplied.
Guests have private access to the entire home, yard, and parking areas throughout their stay. Self check-in makes arrival simple, and there are no shared indoor spaces.
Working remotely or staying connected? The home includes high-speed internet and Wi-Fi.
Need a little more flexibility? Early check-in and late check-out may be available depending on surrounding reservations—just ask.
Traveling with little ones? The home includes a Pack ’n Play with fitted sheets.
This is a classic, older Buena Vista bungalow with plenty of character—not a newly built mountain-modern home. We love the charm that comes with it, but guests should expect some of the quirks of an older mountain home as well.
The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. A drying rack and everything needed for hand-washing dishes are provided.
The home uses a more traditional heating setup rather than a modern central HVAC system. It keeps the bungalow comfortable, but operates a little differently than newer systems. Simple instructions are provided in the home, and we’re always available if you have questions.
During the warmer months, each of the three bedrooms has its own window A/C unit, along with fans for additional airflow and comfort. The main living areas do not have central air conditioning.
We’re happy to welcome up to two well-behaved dogs with prior approval. Please let us know before booking or bringing a pet so we can confirm the stay and arrange the applicable non-refundable pet fee.
Because the home is located in a residential downtown neighborhood, we ask guests to be considerate of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The location makes it easy to enjoy Buena Vista without spending the entire trip in the car. Main Street restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and entertainment are just a short walk away, while the Arkansas River, trails, South Main, and the Surf Hotel are also within easy reach.
We want you to have a comfortable, easy stay and plenty of privacy to enjoy the bungalow and Buena Vista at your own pace. We’re always available if you need anything during your stay and can be reached quickly by message or phone.
