This delightfully bucolic oasis was exactly what I was hoping for and more! It was exactly as presented online, if not even better, the hosts were lovely, and I was very happy with everything about my stay. Highly recommend!!
What a beautiful spot for a quick getaway! Check in was easy, the Carriage house was so quaint and cozy, and Adeye had coffee, tea, snacks, and farm fresh eggs stocked and ready for us which was such a treat. We are already looking forward to a return trip in the colder weather to be able to enjoy the woodstove and all the big, comfy blankets!
Perfect for a little getaway outside in the countryside of Elbert county. Not too far from Colorado Springs or Castle Rock metros. Great for couples with plenty of scenic looks in the daytime but can be cozy and private at night. All the amenities of modern living. Great for a small to medium size family as well. Will be coming back for sure with more family members for a longer stay.
The property was very welcoming to pets - plenty of space to walk and scenery to take in. The Carriage House was very clean and abundantly furnished. Our daughter noticed a horse and donkey immediately upon arrival and our host graciously allowed her to meet them!
Beautiful, charming, clean, well-supplied place to stay! I was absolutely in awe that this place is more than what you could ask for. The coffee, tea, creamers, pods, or ground coffee was amazing, no need for a store run with plenty of snacks, firewood for a cozy fire (I think my favorite room), peace on beautiful land with animals to visit if you choose, which I did. The hosts are wonderful, friendly people who leave you to yourself or are there to meet your needs. This is a place I will not forget!!!
The cabin was adorable on a beautiful farm. The cabin has very thoughtful touches that made it a pleasure to stay at, including a wood burning stove with wood ready to go, several cozy blankets, amazing snacks, a full spice rack, local coffee and hot chocolate, a selection of tea, condiments and nice soap, shampoo, ect. The cabin was very clean and warm on arrival (we stayed during the winter). Communication with the host was good and timely. Overall a great place to stay.

Thank you so much for the kind review. So happy you had a wonderful stay on a very wintery night. Please visit us again when the weather is gorgeous.
My husband and I loved our 3-night getaway at this beautiful carriage house! Recently remodeled, it was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with inviting spaces throughout- from the sunroom entry and nook off the kitchen with a cozy wood-burning stove to the comfortable family room with tv for watching movies, bright dining area (also great for puzzles and games), well-equipped kitchen, and two lovely bedrooms. The outdoor spaces were just as wonderful, with a shaded porch with rocking chairs, outdoor dining area, and fire pit with Adirondack chair seating to take in the surrounding stunning valley views filled with wildlife, rolling hills, and clusters of pines. The hosts were incredibly gracious and thought of every detail, providing luxurious towels, linens, toiletries, cozy blankets, snacks, coffee, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook at home. We especially enjoyed grilling one evening with all supplies (such as charcoal) provided. We also loved exploring the 20-acre property and meeting the friendly farm animals, including alpacas, goats, a horse, donkey, hens, and barn cats. Nearby historic Elbert was charming (we enjoyed a cool drink at the saloon, but they have a full food menu too), and visiting Paint Mines at sunrise was unforgettable (about a 35 minute drive away). The peaceful scenery and back roads of this area made it feel worlds away from Denver, though it’s only about an hour to an hour and a half away.We highly recommend!
