Cottage in an excellent location in Grange, easy to walk into town. Spacious although the lounge is a bit dark and spartan. Lovely views over the bay from the patio and interesting little garden to walk around. However, the directions for getting into the property are a little vague, perhaps add 'path down to cottage is to the left of the property?'. We were very lucky as we had nobody above us for the first two nights. However, we did for the third and there is very little insulation from above, if children were resident it would have been very difficult and invasive. Also there is the very minimum of crockery and glasses (no half pint or pint glasses). Perhaps a visit to Ikea/B and M? Also the mattresses are rather thin and uncomfortable, even toppers would have helped. BUT most importantly, the boiler was very worryingly noisy and sounds as if it should be looked at. My husband is no boiler engineer but feels that it should be investigated. Overall we had a pleasant stay but there were a few niggles which could be easily solved although the insulation from above may be more difficult to solve.
