Escape to 14 wooded acres at The Retreat at High Rock, minutes from Red River Gorge. This secluded creekside cabin sleeps 4 (queen + twin bunks) with room for a 5th on the sofa. A short walk leads to the shared bathhouse with private showers and restrooms. After hiking, climbing, or kayaking, soak in the private hot tub, grill by the creek, and unwind beneath the stars—a peaceful rustic retreat where comfort meets nature.
Surrounded by trees and the gentle sounds of the creek, the outdoor spaces invite you to slow down. Large windows bring the outside in, framing views and filling the space with natural light. The interior encourages rest and ease, offering a cozy place to unwind after time outdoors. Climate control ensures comfort in every season, making the cabin just as enjoyable in cooler months as it is in summer.
The interior spaces are perfect for:
Quiet mornings with a book
Relaxed evenings indoors after the fire dies down
Comfortable nights of deep, uninterrupted rest
Every detail supports a slower pace—one that allows you to fully experience the setting rather than rush through it.

This was the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. We had a slight issue with the hot tub getting hot, however Heidi was right on top of fixing the issue so we were able to enjoy it. Loved the games they had available. We are already planning to come back to RRG as a regular spot.
