We had a wonderful weekend away. Our dog loved the creek, we were able to unwind from our jobs and enjoy relaxing in the hot tub, and the cabin was so rustic and nice. We will definitely book again.

The creek was beautiful & the water was so clear. That was really the only thing that made us decide to stay. We will not be staying in this place again on our next trip. Photos are of the creek because the cabin was nothing special & our discovery on the 1st night is definitely not "family friendly".

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for staying with Cabins of Asheville. We truly appreciate the opportunity to host you.
We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the beauty of the creek and its clear mountain water, as it is one of the highlights of this property.
We sincerely apologize for the item that was discovered in a cabinet upon your arrival. This was completely unacceptable and not reflective of our standards. As soon as you notified us, we responded immediately and removed it. We also conducted a thorough inspection to ensure the cabin was safe and appropriate for all guests.
Guest safety and cleanliness are extremely important to us, and we take situations like this very seriously. Since your stay, we have reinforced our inspection procedures to help prevent anything like this from happening again.
We truly regret that this impacted your experience and appreciate you bringing it to our attention so promptly. While we’re sorry we did not meet your expectations on this visit, we are grateful for your feedback and for giving us the opportunity to address the issue right away.
Warm regards,
Eric and Joey

Disliked: Location
The host communicated well with any questions we had. The cottage's back yard with the stream was fabulous and a great point of interest. The cottage it's self was rustic but cute. It is in a well populated area with neighbors on both sides and a camp ground across the street. We were unable to stay for the length of time we booked as we could not stay comfortably. The bed was horrible. If either of us moved the other moved like a water bed. The bed would bump the wall each time we moved as it did not feel sturdy at all. A very sleepless night. Along with that the battle between the window units and space heaters was rough. Our weekend started out at 80 degress and then cooled significantly. We highly recommend a new bed and maybe more reliable heating and cooling. Since we felt we needed to leave due to basic comfort we gave 3 stars.

We had a great time staying in this cozy house nestled in the woods beside the creek. We enjoyed hearing the rippling creek while relaxing in the rocking chairs and breathing in the fresh mountain air. This place was just perfect for our couples getaway.

Nice cozy cabin perfect for a couple
The view was amazing. Nice creek behind the cabin, and just a short ride to the Blue Ridge parkway or downtown Asheville.

Quaint little cabin with rustic appeal and decor. Right on a peaceful stream, nice hot tub on a large porch over looking stream. Great mountain getaway.
We had a great stay and especially ENJOYED the hot tub. Great quiet location and close to Asheville and Blue Ridge Pkwy. The sound of the water flowing down the creek added to the outdoor environment. We hope to return soon...

Cute little cabin, comfortable, very cool inside with all the AC units. Really enjoyed the private hot tub and the sound of the creek. Good spot, close to our hot air balloon ride, lots of beautiful waterfalls on the way up, plenty of scenic drives & hiking, close to all the things in Asheville. We had a great time!
The hot tub was the highlight of my husbands stay and the creek was mine! Let’s just say we were 2 happy peas in a pod! Great weekend getaway!

Thanks for staying in our cozy cottage by the creek. We’re glad you enjoyed your time. The relaxing hot tub and beautiful creek are definitely two amazing amenities of the cabin. Hopefully you left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and reconnected. Please stay with us again if you are in the area.

The creek was awesome, hot tub was good, nice to have a washer/ dryer as this stay was part of a 15 day road trip. There were ants in the kitchen, but we made sure no food was left out. Overall i would highly recommend! Very cozy and quiet, calm area
This cabin had all the features that we were looking for… listening to the creek out back with access from the deck is just like heaven. It also had a great hot tub outside and was a little cabin in the woods with a fireplace. They do need to do a few cosmetic updates that I relayed to the owner so hopefully next time everything will be five stars.
This cottage is in a great location if your looking for a place to stay in the Pisgah area. Gas and groceries are close by, and the drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway is an awesome one. The cottage was clean, and easy to find. I received immediate answers to my questions. It has a great back deck to relax on, with a creek directly off of it. It was nice to sit in a hot tub which looks off the deck, into the forest!
The property was mostly great. It's a beautiful location and is as described in the listing. The only drawback and the reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the mattress was kind of sunken in in the middle and really needs to be replaced. Everything else was great.

Mrs and Mr vacation
We went on a little vacation to rest, relax and enjoy one another in this busy world. The cozy cottage was great! We enjoyed our time there and I loved the hot tub! Will be even better as temps drop. The location was great as few miles from Blue Ridge Pkwy so we hiked. We also went to Asheville several times which is about a 25 minute drive for great food and fun. There is a great pottery studio very near the cottage that we enjoyed and bought several gifts. We hope to return in October or November.
Response from VrboOwner on 20 April 2020
Thank you for your great review. The pottery studio is only a couple of minutes down the road, and it's a great local place to spend some time. There is also a little antique shop within walking distance. We are making some improvements on this little river cottage, so we hope you will book again soon.
Thank You,
Cabins of Asheville
The cabin is very cozy and is right on a stream. Back portion of home sand patio is very private. Nice hot tub. The fire pit is in the front yard which is not very private, wish it was at the back of property. This is a semi private rental as you are on a road. Let the goat know of small items that would make stay more enjoyable but nothing that would ruin a stay or make us not rent here again. Very responsive host.
