Chalet "Akalei" with mountain view

2 1/2-room flat on the ground floor of Chalet Akalei, living room with large dining table and 4 chairs as well as an additional bed, bedroom with 2 beds, fireplace, flat-screen TV, radio, bathroom with shower/bath and WC, kitchen with some additional appliances such as raclette and fondue dishes. The garden seating area with large sunbathing lawn offers a direct mountain view of the Niesen. Private car park on the property. Chalet Akalei is located in a very quiet neighbourhood with adjoining farm and bus stop nearby. The hiking and bench trails start on our doorstep and also lead directly into the popular Suldtal nature reserve, and in winter the cross-country ski trails are within walking distance, as are the Aeschiallmend ski lifts and the ski school area. Aeschiried is the central and perfect starting point for excursions into the valleys of the Bernese Oberland.
Other sports and leisure activities: All year round: indoor swimming pool with wellness, course and massage offers, paragliding tandem flights, helicopter tours, guided tour of the llama / alpaca farm, western-style horse riding, visit to the worm barn, Hatti adventure farm. Summer: carriage rides, e-bike and mountain bike tours, alpine cheese dairy tours, botanical excursions, extensive network of hiking trails, guided village tours. Winter: Skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, snowshoeing, Christmas trail.
Excursion possibilities: Suldtal nature reserve: the impressive waterfall is around 20 minutes' walk from the Pochtenfall restaurant. In addition to easy and challenging hikes, the Suldtal offers numerous barbecue, picnic and recreational opportunities. Niesen "the swiss pyramid": After a spectacular ride on the funicular railway, the view from the viewing platform at 2362 metres offers a fantastic 360° panorama of the imposing Bernese Alps, Lakes Thun and Brienz and across the Bernese Plateau to the Jura. Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe: An unforgettable day trip to Europe's highest railway station in the high Alpine wonderland at 3,454 metres above sea level is a highlight of any trip to Switzerland. Lakes Thun and Brienz: There are good boat connections on both Bernese Oberland lakes. While you enjoy a delicious meal or a glass of wine on board, your eyes glide over the lovely shores with their magnificent historic castles up to the highest peaks.

Thanks to its central location, all the well-known excursion destinations in the Bernese Oberland are within easy reach. Aeschi can be reached quickly and easily by public transport (train to Spiez and bus to Aeschi/Aeschiried) as well as by private car.
