We didn't research the area online, so that's on us, but the neighborhood is pretty rough, and the house is near a corner that is loud and busy into the early morning. Thankfully the people we saw were kind. The house itself is pretty rundown, but seems to be in the process of DIY renovation. It was stocked with only the barest of essentials, but we stopped at a nearby store for a couple things we needed. I'm sure owner would have provided stuff, but we didn't want to ask.The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was great. Good water pressure. The house was recently cleaned and seemed sanitary, but there was an unfortunate smell that didn't have an obvious source. Hopefully further renovation will correct that.Bottom line? We wouldn't stay there again due to the smell and potential crime factor, but it did make our vacation affordable, which we appreciate.
