The Villages is a 55+ community and therefore has age restrictions for long term guests. No person under nineteen (19) years of age may be a permanent resident of a Home, except that persons below the age of nineteen (19) years may be permitted to visit and temporarily reside for periods not exceeding thirty (30) days in total in any calendar year period. Additionally, neighbors are friends here and pay attention to each other's homes. Therefore, please do not be excessively loud past 9pm.

Front door code will be sent to you 2 days prior to your booking date.
Guests are permitted access to the entire home, excluding locked areas for owner belongings and supplies. You'll also have access to nearby activities, entertainment and sports, if you choose to purchase a Lifestyle ID and explore everything The Villages has to offer.
The Villages is a GOLF CART COMMUNITY!! There are parallel roads for golf carts only. The Villages has an app where you can find directions to anywhere with the golf cart paths. It is truly a fun experience. The home you are staying in DOES offer use of a golf cart. There are local vendors available to rent (with delivery) golf carts, if desired.

POLICIES: Guest Policy: Base rate includes 2x guests in the primary bedroom + 2x guest in each additional bedroom. Number of guests beyond that, using the sofa bed in the living room, will incur a fee. (E.g., 2-Bedrooms = 4 guests included; max 6x guests.)
Due to the deed and covenant restrictions no one under the age of 19 may reside in the house for more than 30 days.
Door Code Provided 48 hours before check-in date
Resident IDs: You will need Village Resident ID cards if you want to use the amenities in The Villages. The amenities include neighborhood pools, family pools, sport pools, pickleball, classes, golf at the executive courses, ability to reserve tee times, etc. IDs cost $50 and The Villages only allows two per home. After you obtain your temporary Resident IDs, you can request guest passes for others in your group. Pick up your Resident IDs first, then go to the Recreation Center to fill out the guest pass form for your guests.
Mail/Amazon Packages: The mailbox key is not given out to guests. Please have Amazon packages delivered to an Amazon locker. Amazon will not always deliver to the house, and owners / leasing agents are not responsible for any mail or packages.
Smoking: NO SMOKING on the premises at any time. Violations will result in fines.
Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed anywhere in or on the property. Violations will result in fines.
Supplies: The home will have a starter amount of supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc. There is enough for a three-night stay for your convenience. If additional supplies are needed during your stay, you are responsible for purchasing these.
Repairs/Maintenance/Damage: If anything needs to be repaired or gets damaged during your stay, please inform us as soon as possible, and we will have a handyman or repairman come out and address the problem.
GOLF CART DETAILS: - Golf Cart Maintenance Fee is $125 at the time of booking. - The Golf Cart is a bonus/privilege and requires a Liability Waiver form to drive, if selected. If you choose to use the golf cart, you will need to fill out our online liability waiver form (which is sent you two weeks prior to booking). Golf cart key will be provided upon submission. - Guest is responsible for any monetary damages to themselves, the golf cart, others, or property of others, including any monetary damages incurred during their use. - We cannot guarantee usage in the event of a mechanical or tire issue while we await vendor repairs. A replacement golf cart will not be provided if there are mechanical issues that prevent usage.

Even though the marketing and check-in information discussed Lifestyle ID multiple times, we did not receive it. Without this ID, making golf reservations is impossible. The instructions for picking up the ID was incorrect resulting in wasting the first half day of our trip. This is either fraud or misrepresentation of the product sold. We would never have made this reservation if we were informed of this situation. If you are staying in the Villages to play golf, stay somewhere else

They need to resolve the Lifestyle ID issue
Firstly: the property and golf cart were fantastic and we had no issues whatsoever. We enjoyed both. The issue is that in three separate communications, we were told that we would be given Lifestyle ID’s for our stay. We were sent to three different locations to pick them up. This wasted an entire morning and the end result was: we were not given the ID’s. This was unacceptable, as the Lifestyle ID is what allows you to book golf, which was our primary activity for the week. We were given a “work around”. that was not helpful. We ended up making reservations for golf courses outside of the Villages at a cost of hundreds of dollars. I would say that this is either fraud or false advertising, either way, it is unacceptable. Find another property that actually delivers what you’re promised.
