We are five siblings who live near and far from our property. We have a sibling who lives in Carlton, minutes from our property and the rest of us are spread out in Hillsboro, Portland and Oregon City.

Welcome to The Big Larz House, our family’s gathering home in the heart of Carlton. With a seasonal pool, year-round hot tub, and warm, welcoming spaces, this home was our dad's (Big Larz) dream—now lovingly shared in his honor. He was a beloved part of the community who brought people together, and this space continues that spirit. This home has years of history and priceless memories with our Dad. Relax, connect, and enjoy wine country from a home built for good times and great company.

What makes this property unique

Our dad always wanted the best of the best. He enjoyed the sun, music and a good time. He built his own oasis outside, and we built an inside oasis after his passing. Our main inspiration was to create a space that we could still gather for our family celebrations as well as have a place to stay during the multiple festivities within Carlton and the surrounding areas. We are now offering it up to you so you can experience why he loved this area so much.
