Frank’s has been recently renovated, and we take pride in maintaining a comfortable and welcoming space. The enclosed sunroom may have had a closed-up smell upon arrival, but we have not experienced persistent mustiness. Similarly, the buildup noted on the air conditioner vents would be consistent with ordinary dust accumulation from use, rather than mold. Frank’s is situated at the end of a dead-end street in a varied, established North Adams neighborhood. Like many New England communities, the area includes a mix of homes, some of which are being updated. The surrounding neighborhood extends well beyond the immediate street and offers a pleasant area to explore on foot. One of Frank’s greatest advantages is its location. Guests can walk to Main Street, including the farmers market, access local bus routes nearby, and reach Mass MoCA with a very short walk. Its proximity to the museum makes it a particularly convenient home base for visitors attending events, exploring the arts, or enjoying everything North Adams has to offer.
