A unique, 18th centuary Grade II listed cottage in the heart of Kingsteignton with original beams, flagstone floor and window seats. Refurbished in 2025 with spacious lounge, dining room, newly fitted kitchen, ensuite shower room and bathroom. Dog friendly with 1 well behaved dog welcome. Private parking for 2 cars on the driveway. Private patio and decking area with garden furniture. Adjacent to the owners house. A great position to visit Dartmoor, Teignmouth, Shaldon and surrounding areas.
The space Brookside Cottage is a characterful, spacious Grade II listed property attached to the owners house. On the ground floor there is an entrance hallway, comfortable lounge with original beams with seating for 4 people, spacious dining room with original beams and flagstone floor with a dining table for 4, superb kitchen with integrated appliances and a downstairs toilet. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms, one with twin single beds the other with a kingsize bed. Both bedrooms have window seats and plenty of storage. There is a bathroom and an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom. The garden consists of a block paved patio and a raised decking area with garden furniture. There is a barbeque available on request.
Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage and garden area which are completely self contained. The cottage is accessed via the owners driveway and guests have parking for 2 cars. The driveway is quite narrow but wide enough for a transit van or range rover. There is also free on street parking available nearby.
The area Kingsteignton is a small town founded in Saxon times. Once the largest village in England it has several shops and pubs nearby offering great food. It is perfectly placed to visit Dartmoor with its spectacular scenary for walks or cycling and is within a 20 minute drive of Haytor. The beaches of Teignmouth and Shaldon are also a 20 minute drive away. Torquay and Paignton are nearby with excellent facilities. There is top quality fly fishing available at the stunningly beautiful Kennick and Fernworthy resevoirs both within a 30 minute drive as well as river fishing on the Teign. The city of Exeter with it's many shops, restaurants, and museum is within a 20 minute drive and the pretty market town of Newton Abbot with it's race course is on the doorstep.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Place all used towels in bath.
Remove recycling and food waste and place in recycling boxes. Put black bin bags in black wheelie bin under car port.
Turn off radio, tv etc. Lock up cottage and return keys to owners or post through cottage letter box.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
